Vyvance has changed my life. My wife is no longer in a carer role. My business was failing. Ive turned it around and, more important, love my work. I wake up feeling good, and my mood remains stable all day long. I call it Angel Dust. Downsides? Loss of appitite, plus food no longer tastes like anything. Sleep disruption. Worst: stomach pain and nausea/vomiting. Solution: I take a break on weekends. Trade off? No question. Benefits far exceed the costs. Saturated in gratitude to have it. Only wish is that it had been earlier. I got diagnosed at 66. Im on 20mgs.

Just started on Vyvanse. My doctor gave my 20mg for a week then 30mg after that. Even the lower dose is making a huge difference. I finally feel a sense of quiet in my head that I’ve never felt before. I find it a lot easier to start task, I get distracted less, and when I do get distracted I’m actual able to pull my attention back after just a few minutes.

I'm glad that it's working out for you. My doctor started me on 10mg yesterday. I just feel really drowsy and relaxed.. like I just drank nighttime Neocitrine. So it was interesting to see in the video that 30-70mg is the therapeutic dose.

how did the first week feel like?i took 30 the first day i was zombified. also. but now it doesn't feel like anything just decreased my appetite (this is my 9th day on ghe meds)
@big-anvil5 ай бұрын
@@sansanm9453 It was interesting. Some days I was able to get a crazy amount of concentration, but other days I could barely feel a difference. I’m in university so it’s easy for me to measure productivity. There were a couple days I just spent in bed on my phone. When I first take the pill and the focus comes in, I have to make sure I’m doing work. Otherwise I’ll just squander the day. The “wow” factor of the first 2 days hasn’t come back yet. Maybe I’ve just gotten used to it. 20mg definitely wears off sooner then I would like. About 6 hours later I start to feel the focus go away. Around 8 hours later the quiet in my mind leaves. Hopefully 30mg last longer. I also have to get better with utilizing it’s effects. I’ve been eating slightly less, especially lunch. But I make sure to have a big dinner, because if I don’t I’ll get a massive headache and intense starvation when it wears off. My sleep schedule is unaffected. I even took it at 2pm one day and was able to get to bed with only slightly more difficulty. Mood has been somewhat inconsistent. Over the weekend I was in bed most of the day. I realize that I may have had a mild depressive episode, but after realizing the medication may have been causing it, the symptoms subsided. One subtle effect that I don’t like is that I feel a bit more distant to my girlfriend. We’ve been together 2.5 years and we’re very close. Right now we are long distance, so this isn’t the best test. But I can tell I feel different. I love her just the same and we talk everyday, but it’s as if I need her less. I’m not a fan of this change and I’m worried it will get worse on 30mg, but let’s see. She’s also on some meds, so chances are she’ll understand. On the other hand most of my other relationships are improving. I find that I’m reaching out to people more and don’t leave messages unread, so that’s nice. Let’s see what’s in store for 30mg.

Vyvanse is a miracle drug for me. I had mild ADHD that was easily managed through CBT, but lately it’s been more difficult to manage, AND I started to get binging issues as well as sleep issue. This drug not only brought me back to the old me where I can get things done and I can focus, but it stopped the binging (and food noise) and I’ve been getting a restful sleep. The only things that I had to change was I have to watch my caffeine intake, and I have to wait one hour after taking the drug before I can have orange juice or put lemons in my water.

@@David1212-p9dI can't speak for them but I assume cause for some people (and depending on the day) vyvanse can have unwanted side effects like anxiety and high heart rate, so in those times I feel like if I were to exercise I might get a heart attack (just the heart rate makes me feel like that but I doubt it.) @dWFnZWVr7 ай бұрын
The global shortage is starting to resolve itself, although periodic shortages may continue throughout 2024. Best thing to do is ask your doctor to issue prescription scripts more frequently (weekly/bi-weekly) to account for any time medication is out of stock. Then you’ll reduce the chances of running out and always have a new supply ready to collect. If you’re on 40MG and only 20MG is available you can prescribe 2x 20MG capsules to make up the 40MG dose. Likewise, you can split a 70MG capsule into two to get approx. 35MG - although this is less advisable unless dissolving in water. It’s unusual to see a sudden jump to 70MG from 30MG or 40MG. Dose increases are typically made in increments of 10MG. 70MG is the highest dose and you can open yourself up to the risk of abuse if it’s too strong for what your body needs. Side effects such as euphoria become more apparent in higher doses and it can lead to dependence.

Well, people aren’t all you, so it’s not really fair to label the drug itself that way in general. We all have different body chemistry, drug reactions, genetics, health conditions, comorbidities, histories, and lifestyles. All of those things and more play a role in determining how a medication will work for someone. Drugs that I have reacted to absolutely terribly, that made me sick or seriously worsened my mental health, are drugs that have been lifesavers for other people. That said, I’m sorry you had that experience, sounds terrible!

dear dr Rosa. Don't you know what's going on in medical schools regarding the dominant control big pharma has on the this institutes in every way from the learning material you've learned aimed to make a Production line of mediators between them and the general poblic by producing "doctors" ? didn't you find it bizarre that all illnesses are idiopathic and the "only" solution is that chemical or the other ? because a lot of doctors picked that up during their school years from all the censorship and the unwilling to give them persuasive answers for just about anything. or that you know exactly what I'm talking about but you just decided to go with it and be a happy part of the crimes against humanity for greed industry ?

Brother, this is an informative video on Vyvanse. Why are you here being angry about big pharma? Go somewhere else and get mad about that. Christ
