I remember reading an interview with Mark where he said he hated this album so much he (they) couldn't even be assed to name it! It was the first Levellers stuff I'd ever heard and tbh I loved it. Listening back the production and mastering were far from great, and its certainly a darker album than Levelling the Land but then that was a classic and I doubt the band could have done much to top it. However I still think its a good album with 2 or 3 real stand out moments ( Warning, Julie, Broken Circles and of course the Dirty Davey cover. )...I am surprised they went out and re-toured it but hey, maybe they listened back and thought it was worth it.

Yeah the youth of today ain't got the passion we had, plus bloody Health & Safety, we could do anything now they try take the fun out the crowd in case of an insurance claim. Lastly everyone stands there filming it on their phone. Fuck the phone get into it and fully enjoy what you are lucky to be witnessing. Rant over haha. Love The Levellers, helped me survive life.

Remember this kicking off the gig in Bournemouth circa mid 90's. Banging tune and album. Sadly after the 4th album i gave up on them.

I saw levellers in 93 at Gloucester Leisure Centre fuckin excellent live, saw Levellers 25th Anniversary in Birmingham 2016, tbh I preferred seeing them back in 93 as the sound wasn't so polished, I may as well sat at home and put the cd on but that's the same at ever gig now the sound is so good its crap.
