Plot twist: Luigi controls the world. Edit: Then Luigi ate the Cursed mushroom he somehow found Level Down and he saw Luigi as the perfect tool to do that what he does in hit newer videos. As seen in 0:48 Luigi has red eyes that look like his eyes while using the destructive „God Mode“ and he uses them to redirect the canons. He can’t send Bowser directly to the void as that would raise suspicion and Luigi probably wasn’t powerful enough for that and Level Up was Level Down's first target. So Level Down was helping Luigi maybe pretending to be Level Up to gain Luigi's trust and maybe partially control over him or him becoming more important to Luigi than Mario and everyone else or by making him think that they all got corrupted and Level Up lost his body and is controlled by Level Down to make Luigi think he is doing the right thing and saves the mushroom Kingdom.
