Outside of HYP in Heat, you're not gonna win full sets just by doing down AOP 🙄. Drag on the other hand literally oppresses his opponents entirely. Absolutely loathe this character.

@@whutthehell Devilster was being regarded as the “best Jin” towards the end of Tekken 7 when book and CBM abandoned the character. Devilster does not compete regularly but he has played in tournaments and has beaten Arslan and Atif in the past. He’s like #5 on my list as far as I’m concerned.

@@zoeylmao So is Akuma in T7 but the problem with Akuma and now Xiaoyu is that their mechanics break the game as if you're playing a different game. I fought a few Xiaoyu's and it surprises the hell out of me if AOP dodge a low attack. If Knee and other top players noticed it then it isn't far to say they have something that hold water. These pros still play casual matches so the competitive scene isn't a be-all, end-all when it comes to updates.

It’s okay to disagree with Knee. I like Knee and he does make some good points. The only issue is he talks about changes that should be made to appease the “pro” Tekken players. The game has already sold 2 million copies, so Bandai Namco is trying to focus on the 99% of players who can actually make them more profits.

They nerfed yoshi way 2 much. If they had nerfed other characters, I could underatand... But yoshis health restoring was a big thing in T7. It allowed him to do his shinnanigans more fluently and force others to attack. I know most yoshis really enjoy Yoshi... but they should buff him back.

I'm a Yoshi main who just recently hit purple ranks and will hopefully hit blue soon. I think he's fine in his current state, but the problem is the other meta characters are just way too over tuned right now. I was pissed with his nerfs at first, but going back to live matches the nerfs are not as bad as people made them out to be. The real problem was the developers giving buffs to Azucena and King who really did not need them. And you still have overturned characters like Jun, Devil Jin, Dragunov, Ling and Feng. They should have waited to nerf Yoshi's flash and damage, but as long as he does not receive any more nerfs I'll continue to main him.

I think it's either that Yoshi only regenerates white health (I'm not actually sure on this) or he would have eaten a death fist from Paul.

Yoshi can get permanent health from Indian stance 3 + 4 which has a really long animation. I think it's only 5% or 10% health regained but it's a huge risk. After the nerfs Yoshi really does not have optimal health regeneration unlike Jun who gets health back from her heat. They really punished his spinning evasion with the health regen nerfs in the recent patch.
