I got very lucky actually. It was through networking and seeing a random post on linkedin back during my unemployment streak around March :D I actually never formally applied even, but ended up going through multiple rounds of interviews where I had to convince them that I would be capable of figuring things out despite not having done any job related software dev in 15 years. I actually didnt get the job back then, but 6 months later they came back for another attempt.
