Great story, well delivered. Speaking as a Brit who has to deal with 2 to 6 months of paperwork every time I just want to change out a gun, I love the "sound" of an American casually talking about just simply battering a gun for something else when ever he wants to "in the morning", it "sounds" like....... Freedom (apologies to "Apocalypse Now"). Its also the reason why I am selling up and coming to live in America.

Does the Rossi have Interarms as the importer? 92’s have been built in Brazil for decades. I have an Armando Rossi that may have been made in 1974. In the rear sight dovetail is what I believe is a date code. That rifle sure looks like a 92. It does not look like a Marlin. I don’t see a lever pivot screw under the main body of the receiver. Also the two vertical locking lugs and no side eject.

Yes it is marked Interarms but not Rossi. And it has no markings from Brazil or any model name/number at all.

The 1895 musket models that were given to Russia during WWI have always fascinated me, and are a personal “grail gun” I’d love to obtain one day. Until then, a Henry Golden Boy I picked up a year ago is the only levergun I’ve got but man is it fun

I love the Rough Riders movie. Teddy bought 1895 Winchesters for his officers is what I heard

i had a 1895 in 30 army/3040, in a takedown made in 1923, after about 20 years i traded it off. i have had many 99 savages in my life. the 300 sav. is my favorite cal. i only have one 99 left. it is a pristine barrel band carbine in 1935, it is 30-30 cal. i have been handloading since 1967, i have had and have old marlins. my favorite right now is my 1893 in 38-55 made 1901

Hi Grey Pilgrim. This lever gun video came up in my feed. With me also being an old guy and interested in historical guns I had to watch. I enjoyed your down to earth style. You seem like the perfect person who would be a cowboy action shooter but assuming you aren't since you didn't mention any typical CAS guns. Cheers.

thank'ee sir. Yes I did Cowboy action in my youth, alas age related injuries have slowed me some and I am more a collector thena doer these days. Look thru my older vids and you will find ones on all sorts of 19th and some 18th century firearms.

I enjoy "levers" too. But that one (at 3:03) doesn't look like a Marlin design to me. More like a Winchester 92.
