Leverage using margin on exchanges is actually a really complicated affair and I think people would do well to avoid it unless you really really know what you're doing as a trader as far as quickly calculating and managing risk. You really have to understand concepts like the amount of loss that you can take before margin call/liquidation in order to properly understand the risk of leveraged trades. I think the best use of margin leverage for an active trader is just using it for positions that are reasonable relative to your account size, (as in less than) in order to leave more of your capital free for other things. Trying to use it to multiply your account in to one position in anything with even a little volatility is like trying to drive drunk in rush hour traffic. In other words, if you don't fully understand it and you're not ready to use it in a responsible manner, stay away!

Fantastic video Guy. I have been a trader for a while and I can tell you that the house definitely has the edge. What a lot of people innocently do not realize is that the exchanges completely cheat those who are not in their inner circle. I caught this early in the game when a bot on a very large quantity constantly cut me by one one-thousandth of the value simultaneously on every one of my sell bids. When I cancelled the order it would shoot back up to a much profitable position. Point being it prevented me from selling period and just ground me down. Then I had a vibrant discussion with the exchange. :) I would like to hear about DIVI and the opportunities of great monthly returns they are promising with their node investments.

Here's my idea: How about a video on "How to EXIT the market in the next Bitcoin BULL RUN" Everybody is comfy right now holding their Bitcoin, but once the bull run starts, the question in everybodys mind is gonna be: Should I continue to hold?? Should I sell now?? What I need to do?? You can show us a viable strategy on how to collect those profits and BACKTEST IT using the 2017 December bull run (so we can actually see real life results when the strategy is applied)

Hi Guy! A few suggestions that may be worth exploring: 1) Retiring with Crypto e.g. building a passive income portfolio to fund the retirement lifestyle. 2) Pool.Together - an interesting savings approach similar to UK Premium Bonds - More people should be using it. 3) Alternatives to MetaMask 4) Avoiding Gas fees / reducing transaction fees. I'm not sure if it is possible - but I know that I'm personally very conscious of fees as they can quickly eat up any gains if one isn't careful, I've also had a few failed transactions (double fees! - how frustrating!). Anyhow, I'm obviously desperate for a Ledger :) But your channel has been a big turning point in my relationship with Crypto! Thank you for all your hard work. Using your content I'm working very hard at building a passive portfolio to fund an early retirement or at least partial retirement in the near future!

My suggestion would be “Analysis of upcoming coins/projects/companies to have in your radar”. You could also start a pretend-portfolio with an imaginary budget (let’s say £1000 for example) and tell your audience how you would invest it while aiming for short-term to mid-term gains. My video format suggestion: *Practical Crypto*. A serie of video talking about some usefull blockchain usecases. Explaining the technical aspect of a project/dapps. Benefith and disadvantages. And finaly a setup tutorial of the project. For example you can do video about Orchid (OXT) vpn and another about Sia (SC) + Skynet storage solution (with pratical test for sure). The thing with being a beginner is that “you don’t know what you don’t know” ;D For example, a week ago I had no idea that there are tax tools available for crypto trading …but now I know! I think it would be hugely beneficial (especially for less experienced viewers) to devote one entire video to a very top level broad view of all topics related to crypto (and perhaps then have a vote within the community which aspects to cover in detail). This is just food for thought. If you can crack the “you don’t know what you don’t know” problem and open peoples’ minds to what they might want to learn more about, you will add enormous value to a lot of us watching. Content I know I would like to see: 1) Monthly Q&A session addressing viewers’ questions. Here are some to get you started: Q1. Is there a place where you can see a list of live prices of crypto at different exchanges? Q2. When I type "price of BTC" into google it shows a value - is this taken from one exchange or calculated as an average value from different exchanges? Q3. Is there any point in buying at one exchange and selling immediately at another (at higher price)? Is this even a thing? Q4. Can I trade crypto outside exchanges directly with other users? Q5. From what I can see many cryptocurrencies move together with Bitcoin (graphs are very similar). What is the point of trading them if you can buy Bitcoin? Q6. How does a cryptocurrency die? Q7. What do you think about Karatbars stable coin idea (V999 token)? Q8. Are there any platforms for crowdfunding in the crypto world? Q9. What is the difference between Limit trade and Stop-limit? Q10. Follow-up episode showing how to use the best tool from the previous vid. 3) PRACTICAL ASPECTS - using, spending crypto The episode about crypto cards was great! Anything on buying stuff with crypto and spending it. How to store it if you want to use it for everyday spending. Can you get a mortgage using crypto? How HMRC views crypto and practical aspects of setting things up to minimise tax later. 4) TRADING Explaining terminology. What strategies can be used. Different types of trading. Best advice for anyone starting out. Advanced tips. How to use leverage? How to pick currencies that are good for trading? Mistakes to avoid? Is it worth having a second monitor to compare graphs? What charts or tables to have in front of you and why? How professionals do it? 5) CRYPTO SCAM WARNINGS Latest scams and ways people can lose their coins. Dodgy exchanges, projects etc. 6) ABOUT YOU I would be interested to learn more about you! Plain and simple. How you started this channel? How you allocate your funds? What you invest in? Even simple practical things on how you do things and why. Your biggest mistakes? Your plans for the future? 7) ABOUT OTHER people in this space I would love to see examples of real people who made profit/achieved success but not just by getting lucky and buying something cheap before it exploded. I mean someone who spotted an opportunity early and consciously took action to take advantage of it - an example could be yield farmers you mentioned in one of the recent episodes. I’m sure it won’t be easy to find such people and get them to share but I would certainly watch that! Hopefully, the above ideas will help you somewhat. The biggest problem with crypto is that your keys your crypto means that friends and family will never get access to it if something unfortunate happens abruptly. hi Guy, some some suggestions i gave you already last time but here i sume them up, and some more: i would love to see videos on the following subjects/questions. 1) Categorisation/grouping of Cryptos: what categories of Cryptos are there? ie. DeFi, own Blockchains, what are Currencies and what are used as Tokens, some coins one can buy are fuel for a certain system (ie. Enjin) and some are build upon others (ie. on Etherium) - i still did not get a proper understaning for myself (also putting the coins together in groups like DeFi, Identity, IOT, supply Chain, Gaming, Blockchains, Oracles. etc... - you can make a series out of it. No one else is offering this on KZbin. 2) i would love to see much more on trading (strategies, indicators, etc..) - ie. this video about leverage could be much deeper for me. Maybe you set up a webinar where you charge money. i would pay if i see a great curriculum. 3) Benchmarking of main coins (what are the competitors of Etherium, Enjin, Tezos etc..?) 4) Eventually also a vid about IPO in the crypto market (i heard more and more companies are going IPO)- are you following this? 5) IPO vs ICO - i saw companies which are backed by VC as shareholder and then they additionally do an ICO? why that? both brings funding for growth. Why would one do an Equity round when you can just distribute coins and you keep the shares for themselve. by the way what revenue model have all those projects actually? the Tokens are just the fuel for the transactions but how do they earn money? 6) 5G impact on IOT and therefore Blockchain? will it give a boost?`what impact, if any, will it have on what project sorry in case a bit unstructured thoughts. best, Martin

Guy, More suggestions for content: 3. Can you explain wrapped BTC and wrapped ETH and why this may or may not result in inflating the supply of each? 4. What is the potential for the BTC price to be manipulated by the use of "paper bitcoin" traded apart from the underlying BTC, similar to how silver and gold prices have been kept down by the use of derivatives? Doesn't this potentially kill BTC's benefits since this would have the effect of artificially inflating the supply? Thanks and love the channel!

Sugestion: An overview of the most important cases of exchanges hacks, running away with cryptos, scams, etc (Mt GOX, Cryptsy, BTC-e, Quadriga, etc). Just to remind people that if you don't control the private key you don't own your cryptos. It could be a good heads up for the community since we're entering a new bull run and many new people might enter the markets without taking the necessary precautions. Love your videos and love your production value, but I have a suggestion (sorry I'm an audio engineer so I have to mention this)... Try using a de-esser... The S's, C's, T's, etc. are just a bit harsh and keep me from turning up the volume. Maybe also a little compression as well. It will give you much smoother and professional sounding audio.

What about fundamental analyses on DeFi protocols? For example, people are debating on how to improve the existing DAI pegging mechanism (forum.makerdao.com/t/peg-stabilization-modules-a-pre-mip-discussion/3045), or the new Balancer pool which is a portfolio manager and liquidity provider (interesting maths behind). I feel like we need more in-depth analyses on those protocols, so that people can understand how they work and the risks involved instead of just FOMO into yield farming. Congrats btw! I'm still trading on the spot market and probably won't be confident enough to trade using leverage anytime soon.

Great videos I wouldn't change a thing other than stick to a regular format so there is continuity in your spotlight project videos. For instance some of your video describe the projects ICO's and other you mention but don't describe what price they were offered at. As far as a suggestion how about another defi project video on DMM/DMG. Again great videos. THX

hey guy, how about a video for traders like us who have came over from stock and FX trading worlds, what they've learned there, how they transitioned into crypto, lessons learned in both fundamentals and TA, market sentiment, psychology, asset and portfolio management. mostly how to take the best of both worlds, how take those trading strategies into the future BUT also realizing that maybe not EVERYTHING needs to be decentralized, like when to deploy cash or hedge back into stable coins, having multiple trading accounts, wallets; hot and cold, and lastly continuing to trade equities, fixed markets and maybe futures (literally everything from bonds to metals) outside of bitcoin, and having a truly futuristic and diversified portfolio going into the next decade!!

one suggestion that comes from my experience. reviewing a faucet or making a walkthrough for airdropping may be the safest and quickest way for someone to learn about crypto.getting some bits and bytes of a token and get to know it and make transaction is the best way to learn. that was for me too. I ended up educating myself through KZbin then articles then whitepapers and early access. goodluck to your chanel.

I think a mistake that many people make including myself is, leaving money on the table. Using FTX exchange for almost a year now - 3x leverage on Ether or Bitcoin without collateral. Don't know why more than 3x would be used, seems like gambling. The 90 minute chart is optimal in my experience on those contracts, assuming you understand the general trend on the larger time frames. I actually don't use a stop loss. Why? My leveraged positions are measured in days, nothing more, so risk is considered long before entering a position. Also, the overall portfolio is not allowed to go above 30% on leverage. Sometimes it scoots way past that depending on performance!
