Gut feeling is Haines simply thought he was gonna show up and lift his hand before the match. You don't win nationals when you underestimate ANY wrestler. I'm a diehard psu fan but I just don't see Haines taking nationals. Im not even sure if I'd give him big10 after what I just saw.

@kenneth-tz4sx And I would say he's just very patient wrestling. Nothing wrong in this match here Crosby is certainly strong by the looks of it, but Haines got to his legs often, he just had a tough time finishing on those heavy and well-balanced hips of Crosby. It took him all of that last round to win that match there. Either way, Haines comes ready for war when he needs to.
