Leviathan Awakened Example Clear (Barrage Spam Method)

I was on 2 hours of sleep when they came out lmao, so after 8 hours of attempts I was very excited to finally beat it...
Also I will most likely make a guide on this one in the future, I think the strat I do here is pretty optimal for simplifying the fight, I just need to fine tune the rock placement a bit for dealing with tornadoes.

reason the white orb didnt spawn Northwest is because u have boulders adjacent to (or on) the Northwest orb spawn's southwest tile -- unsure if I can link pictures but lemme know if u want one better explaining the reasoning -- also huge congrats on blood torva! :)

Ty! And a lot of people say that, but I remember an example I was reviewing and there were no boulders in the 3x3 quadrant the thing spawns in yet it spawned on the other corner, was weird, could just be a bug or there's some other cause.

maybe a silly question but do you know if you have to kill each boss without killing the reg versions inbetween? similar to how wildy diary is for the bosses, you gotta kill them all one after the other or it resets and start again

Nah I believe you just need to get 1 kc of each, and I believe once you have all 4 kc getting just 1 kc on any of them gives you another kit if you've lost your kit.

Any tips for enrage phase or is it a matter of just doing it 50 times until you get comfortable with it?

The best way to get comfortable with enrage phase is to make sure you properly place your boulders beforehand, the less clutter in your way the easier it is. Always run ahead of the orb and prayer flicks are more important than getting an extra hit off. But mainly practice

Hold up. You're telling me there is no cooldown for the stuns and you can effectively just spam Shadow Barrage to make it only do the specials if you place the rocks correctly?

Yea, as long as you manage to hit the weakspot in time from behind, if you're late it seems like it'll attack until throwing 1 set of random rocks before letting you barrage again, so just don't be late getting to the weakspot as it would suck if a random rock lands blocking your path for enrage phase.

The orb attacks have an icon in the middle of the orb and a specific sound effect for people who are colorblind that indicate which type they are. Ranged has an arrow head icon and a hiss sound, melee has a shuriken icon and a low whoosh sound (that's the best way I can think to describe it), and magic has a starburst icon and a springy sound. They aren't the best alternative identifiers for the orbs, but they could make it possible for those with visual or hearing impairments to finish the fight. The sound occurs when the orb is generated, so you may have an easier time using that to identify the type. Luckily, the damage is only calculated when the orb actually hits you for this fight, rather than when the orb is generated, so as long as you get the right prayer on before it touches you, you won't take damage. They also adjusted the color of the melee orbs on August 9th to help make it clearer for those with visual impairments. I think it's a darker orange color now, but I had a hard time telling the difference. Hopefully that won't be the case for the colorblind though.

Hey Kirby, for the first spec you went to line up falling boulders but quickly ran up and prepped for lightning special, was there a tell or something to lookat to know what special hes about to hit with? Or was that a lucky guess

for the method his using it's random but usually after the first set of rocks that fall they either spawn n/s w/e based on where the rocks spawn is how you know what rotation it's on.
