What’s the difference between this and one of the stratus gps with synthetic Vision on fire flight?

The BOM and the Stratus are two different devices. The BOM is a wireless and self-powered aerodynamic pod that mounts underneath the wing of your aircraft that works even during an instrument malfunction or related emergency. @@levilaviation I did, I watched all the videos lol, the angle of attack isn’t that useful since it has to be calibrated for pressure altitude, but it is a cool feature for experimental planes that don’t have one. Either that than I don’t see a difference between a cheaper stratus. That’s why I asked what the differences were because I don’t see any

@@levilaviation Design Assurance Level , ie one of the prerequisites required by RTCA DO 178, ie relative to criticality of the sensed and displayed data Air Data, Attitude is usually DAL A, maybe lower in some cases.
