@@polar6066 OW1 is just different because like tbh...you can one trick (Get flamed) but still get value just cause of how team synergy worked and like less passives/etc.

Playing Sym is like what makes me have fun in OW rn because the balance and the meta just DRAINS my soul. Literally hitscan simulator with the british fly as the default

Symmetra's beam should gain range the higher level it is... Turrets should come back even faster now that it's less useful. Photon Barrier needs Halved HP and also Halved Ultimate Points Cost.

i dont think syms beam needs many big changes imo (ammo consumption being 7 would be a nice qol change tho) but her ranged could use some help, lol. orbs low in dmg low in charge speed

Honesty she needs her 2.0 shield back and a buff to her orbs, because she cant put in damage fast enough compared to every other damage character nor can she survive long enough to sustain a fight.

I never played OW1, so I don't know how sym played before, but why does she feel like she is a support without healing? What I mean is that her kit feels more support than dps, the turrets to help defend point with the tank, the tp to help your team get faster to parts of the map that would take a while without it, it's just all her abilities seem to benefit the team more than the other dps that have "selfish" abilities that mostly help them do damage. So, was she a support that was moved to dps and had her healing abilities removed or she was always a dps without selfish abilities? Because even the beam look like something that would heal allies lol Anyways, I feel that the sym is not a bad character but she just needs something more to make her viable, like more damage or something that helps her to survive long battles idk
