If you somehow managed to take them on 5M range, then it's lethal. 10 meters, TTK is shit. 15 meters - TTK is.. eventually.. Flashets will suck at any range starting from 7. You literally need to push hard with this ammo. You killed them because they deserve it, because they let you to move so close to them. Very overrated ammo. Usually it won't work. I always know when someone is using flashets on me. Their speed is 300m, you can tell it's flashets. All i need is to make some range, and whoever trying to shoot me with this, will be fucked from this moment. Flashets are absolute garbage on 10M range and if opponent is moving. When i am on 15, i don't give a shit anymore. If someone kill me with it, that's on me.

The new KS-23M evolution has combined the powers of the hatchling, the pump action, and the saiga 12 chad, and have become the single most deadly ambush predator in all of tarkov. The KS-23 users are completely vulnerable, boasting no defensive abilities other than their incredible camouflage, rat instincts, and creativity. They are purely ambush predators. Usually lying in wait in a dark shadowy corner or balancing on a small ceiling light, vent, doorway, power box, tree, or other objects to help disguise them, occasionally they will use lightning-fast bursts of speed and mobility to catch their prey off guard. 90% of all KS-23 deaths were executed with the prey having never laid eyes on their attacker. Due to the KS-23 user being almost entirely helpless once spotted, they have evolved 2 incredibly powerful fighting techniques, the first being the STAR round, capable of fully blinding it's prey for over a minute, making it almost entirely defenseless against it's next attack, Shrap 10. Shrap 10 is only viable in close quarters, but deals a devastating blow to the legs, instantaneously killing anything it hits. Some KS-23 users have discarded the blinding technique and instead opted to strike with speed. Hiding in the shadows they take careful time to position their attack, and swiftly execute their enemy in a single shot, truly a terrifying beast, they are known to lurk in the tunnels of the Reserve, due to it's complex tunnel system, cramped spaces, and shadowy corners.

i have a friend who is one of these rare specimen but he even is a one of a special breed he adopted the slug realy early but he likes to bring a backup shotgun for his main shotgun mixing ap/20 to magnum/flechet and he has adopted the "honey badger" approach never to touch the "rat life" quoting "he is not a little bitch"

The KS-23 evolution path is different. You go from rat to absolute chad. Then they finds out that ks-23 is true chads choice of a weapon and they begin to use it for leg meta.

Have you heard of the fabled Shotgun Sniper variant? This elusive species of shotgun user utilises a long barrel 153 and AP-20 slugs to take down their opponents from ranges akin to that of DMRs or assault rifles. The long barrel enhances the range capabilities of the slug while its high damage and decent penetration power spell almost certain doom for any prey that wanders into the area. Often suppressed, the shotgun sniper frequents the customs area for its mid range yet open areas making it the perfect hunting ground. In extremely rare cases, these fauna can employ thermal sights to truly reign supreme when the sun goes down

Where is the leg hunter?, they have extremely good leg aim and have a shoutgun with supresor, even with the best gear, the leg hunter drops to the flor and aniquilate his prey the only thing that can defeat them is the granades to make them move or use the blind angle.
