Would love to see tutorials for the individual moves, especially the later ones!

Great effective tutorial. Solid moves and no excessive chat and video effect nonsense. I like how you get straight to the material. ::: applause :::

+thatursula Thanks there! Others prefer tutorials with explanation though. I made this easy to reference too when studying moves. Thanks again for the appreciation!
@thatursula8 жыл бұрын
My preference is for the video to begin with quick examples of the moves and then break them down and add detail. Too many begin with long introductions and take half the video for me to see enough of the moves to know if I'd be interested in learning them. I like yours because you got straight to the point.

I just wanted to say thank you for posting this, as well as your other videos. I found this integral in learning basic short string moves. It really gave me direction to build my skills!!
@mazmcnamara73919 жыл бұрын
Hi, reckon you could do some tutorials for some of these moves? for most of them i had absolutely no idea what you're actually doing. cheers x
@FirechillEhrlichOcampo10 жыл бұрын
Hi Nanar! The short string is just an inch or two longer than half of the wand. So if you let it hang, you have like an inch or two extra from the top end of the wand. :)

Cool video! I'm still trying to figure out how to use my other hand to do stalls. Any tips? :)
@FirechillEhrlichOcampo9 жыл бұрын
+J West Thanks! Do you mean you're trying to wand with the other hand as your control hand (where the wand is attached) or just using the free hand to control the string?
@zzElectric10 жыл бұрын
Thanks a lot about to buy a flow wand and I needed something to get an idea of what I have coming and it looks like so much fun. Do you recommended getting the Flowtoys Levitation wand? Im really looking to buy that for my first wand.
@FirechillEhrlichOcampo10 жыл бұрын
Hi M Abbott! Yes I recommend the FlowWand because it's best for beginners and has great balance. The wand I used in the video is Flowtoys - I just embellished it with stickers and tapes. :)
@w4wumbo2575 жыл бұрын
Hey! As a beginner, would 28 vs 26 inches for string be too long you think?

I use an LED leviwand, which is much heavier than the normal levistick. Could you give me some pointers on how to successfully pull off the palm float and circles?
@FirechillEhrlichOcampo10 жыл бұрын
Hi Dawnie! Since it's heavier, applying more turning force/momentum could help lift the wand for the palm float. As for circles, I think the problem would be the thickness of the wand. Not entirely sure how to explain it, but applying constant force and movement would help. Practice it, explore it and you'll see what I mean. Happy wanding! :)

Thank you for the feedback. This wasn't meant as a tutorial; more of as a reference or "tricktionary."

I've been trying to figure out the behind the back stall for a while now.. any tips? Thanks!!
@FirechillEhrlichOcampo9 жыл бұрын
+J West You can have the "catching" or "stalling" hand waiting at the back already, then you sort of feel the string and slow it down once you catch it. You can also twist your body a bit to the direction of the spin to help you with the stall.
@jwest9979 жыл бұрын
Firechill / Ehrlich Ocampo Thank you for responding! I learned last night after some intensive research. You should upload more levi wand videos! You're videos are sweet but it's hard to find many levi wand videos out there. :)

Yes yes! It's just been crazy busy these days and at my stage right now I'm working more on cleaning my moves and improving artistry than exploring new moves.

@illushuns10 жыл бұрын
Do you think the over the elbow/arm is possible with the flowlight wand? It's heavier so Im having trouble get it to go over my elbow controlled, but it could just me cause im unsure of technique
@FirechillEhrlichOcampo10 жыл бұрын
Totally possible. It's just a little heavier and a little longer. It needs a little more effort to do. If you have basic wand, better if you practice with it first. Also helps if you flick it up and keep your elbow bent. ;)
@illushuns10 жыл бұрын
Firechill / Ehrlich Ocampo hahah thank you! I think i should get a practice wand and maybe dabble in long string as well :D
