Yes normally the smaller one should be used for single rooms. I have the mini and it works perfectly for my houses bedroom

I would say so, but technically the mini is recommended for rooms no bigger than 240 square feet. I personally still notice a difference in even bigger rooms with the mini

Mini is for small rooms. It's not optimum for big rooms
