I have a lot of Levon stories. I was in his HBO documentary. I knew him from the 80’s. Since I was 14 yrs old. He’s from my hometown. He grew up hard like most in the Mississippi Delta. Greg you should check out his daughter Amy Helm. She’s a great singer and still lives in NY.

A National Treasure, He had a farm in Woodstock NY, he made the barn in into a recording studio. Sat nights he would hold Ramble in the Barn. He recorded a show called Ramble at the Ryman with guess. Find the official video of Poor old Dirt farmer. He did an album with Mavis Staple too.
