Hikaru plays positions that look like nothing and whenever he talks he is always implying that his moves are bad and nothing is in the position. Then suddely he has a huge advantage because his oponent blundered. I think GMs just play drawing lines because they know weaker players wont repeat for a draw but look for asymetrical positions that might even be bad for them for a chance of a win. I.E forcing something from nothing and losing the game.
