The 4-hour delivery also highly depends on the large population in China, which is impossible in other countries. Anyway, as a Chinese who has used Taobao for 3 years before, the online shopping here in NA is just like a boneshaker, slow and not secured.

Loic is incorrect - this was NOT Hugo's first public appearance after his switch to Xiaomi. He had at least one other, at the China 2.0 conference on October 3rd at Stanford, which was public. Perhaps the LeWeb show organizers were simply trying to make a bigger deal out of his appearance.

Former director of the Google's Android Department -- Hugo Barra, went to Xiaomi(小米) months before and talk about his discovery in China. It seemed that he's quite excited about living in Beijing with an exotic life style, especially convenience in online shopping and felt successful in his populous business. Yep..Imagining the express company could hire a studious postman in only 400 euro per month in Beijing.. But also he didn't talk about his extra spend on air-refresh system at home XDD.

Oh my, is that the general level of tv host in France ? I have to say he's pretentious and full of judgemental attitude there and he sure behaved way too casual. Shame he barely made a decent interview. Just listen to his little comments and small talks or those stupid questions jumped out with little relation or whatever to the subject. Seemed like he didn't really know where heading his interview. What a waste of time for the audience and the guest host to have a guy like that on stage! oh my, luckily Hugo Barra did a great job on the presentation.
