He is so talented and I could see from the documentaries that his dad diminishes his greatness. He showed them an amazing song, speaking from his heart and his dad says is shite. That broke my heart! Anyway, for me...he is great by himself. HIs producer and writers all making him doubt his talent. He's just awesome!

@@JenniferCaliskanI think his parents are very proud of him in general. I agree their reaction to that wonderful song, especially when it is about imposter syndrome- was shockingly disappointing. I would have commended my son on the beautiful song and the next question would immediately be ARE YOU OKAY? They may have missed the boat, however with backstory- they are so used to him saying these sorts of things that maybe they wish he wouldn’t focus on it in his songs. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I adore Lewis because he stays true to himself. I hope he never changes. If you haven't, catch Niall Horan and Lewis going on a road trip through Ireland. It is hilarious and shows what great friends they are. Billie Eilish also has Tourette's which is a very misunderstood disorder. Lewis has handled it brilliantly. I saw recently that he is not going to tour due to it becoming a hindrance but I surely hope it is not going to keep him down for long. Like he said there are many things he can do to try to manage it. I wish him the best.

Nice one Lewis! As you get older neurological masking happens for older people with Tourette's. Happened to me as I got older, I found it was harder to explain to people when you are older and have some control over things. Great interview!

I thought the comments were exaggerating, but he’s genuinely hilarious. Seriously, up there with Gervais and Carey (2 of my favourite “funny people”). Obviously he’s a genius songwriter too, genius comedian. And despite appearing so confident, nervous ticks have taken over him. I’m convinced if he got in shape (he can afford the very best assistance - it wouldn’t take long for him at all) and felt more comfortable in the mirror - I know for a fact the ticks would begin to die down.

I have TS. Diagnosed at 7. I’m 34 now. I can’t imagine not having an answer to why I was twitching for so long. But to hear him say “I just have Tourette’s “ is so refreshing. My 10 year old son has TS as well and he always tells people when they ask why he’s making noises or twitching “oh. It’s just my Tourette’s”
