Lewis Center for the Arts Alumni POV: Branden Jacobs-Jenkins '06 & Lileana Blain-Cruz '06

Princeton alums and Obie Award winners Lileana Blain-Cruz ’06 and Branden Jacobs-Jenkins ’06 discuss the formative theater community at Princeton and their experience returning to campus to stage GURLS, Jacobs-Jenkins’ new adaptation of Euripides’ The Bacchae that was commissioned to celebrate the opening of the Lewis Arts complex. Directed by Blain-Cruz, GURLS had its world premiere in October 2017 to a sold-out house in the Wallace Theater during A Festival of the Arts at Princeton.

The series celebrates the accomplishments of arts alumni working in a broad range of disciplines, providing an intimate perspective on their daily lives and careers, in their own words.
