F1 drivers are the fittest athletes in the world, they have to train their bodies so they can withstand G forces of 5G. That’s five times their own weight, pressing down on their entire body during a two hour race. Along with this, they change gear while driving faster than you can blink. They sweat 4 kilograms of water during a race, that’s equivalent to just over 8lbs in just under two hours, every fortnight (on average), for 22 weekends of the year. Their core strength is that of an Olympic Gymnast. They have reactions quicker than that of a fighter pilot, Jenson Button was that physically fit, that he would regularly take part in ultra marathons during the race season too.
