This is pretty old , from 1963. The Les Halles food market he mentions was finally moved in 1969 to Rungis, just outside Paris. Decades later, the car problem's only got worse and the governments'answer are more repressive measures under some pseudo environmental policies which don't tackle the real problem, our economic model.
