Wave assaulting the second floor works better if you’re facing the direction of the aliens. If you and the alien spot each other simultaneously reaction fire doesn’t immediately happen. Every time they sent a boy upstairs he was looking at the corner ready to get shot in the back.

It's basic stuff like this that they will never learn and it will keep them from actually being good at the game.

can you imagine if an actual task force was instructed to pull the pins off their grenades during landing, and then the commanders proceed to be mind boggled at the loss of life and collateral?

Last episode: "SOLDIER! Pull the pin, drop the grenade in the ship, and jump off the left side of the ramp. Nobody else in the ship is permitted to do ANYTHING for the next 10 seconds."

Never change commanders. If you actually got good and started beating the game a lot you would probably get bored and stop. I want the chump blood to flow for at least a decade.

They shouldn't chumps prayer with an open area. Though in my playthroughs you could chumps prayer if you preprimed a smoke on your front guys and lobbed it onto the ramp

this skyranger has no doors then? they used to do this with a modded dropship which had doors.

i dont know why ben dont use smoke bombs he always tray to use them in the xcom files but not here, in normal xcom are very good

He didn't put down smoke because he thought he was facing the edge of the map an nothing could shoot him.

I just wanted to point out that prepriming is a mod only feature. Along with grenades exploding at the end of your turn. In Vanilla smokes won't prevent turn one sky ranger wipes. Having said; that the open xcom mod makes smokes much more useful and there is no reason they aren't using them other than experience and personal preference.

Not to mention failing to drop all of the chumps' guns while they were in the ship and getting tickled. That's a weird sentence if you don't know the context.
