As a follower of Jesus I can understand why he is so irritating. He claims to be god but he has come for the lost the lonely the poor the oppressed the poor in spirit to reconcile them to God and there is no work needed at all which is disconcerting indeed there is nothing other than belief that you can do. He claims to be love and dislike the church leaders. It annoyed the Jews, it frustrates the Aetheists. I can't quite follow the arguement here that Jesus is a prophet but a liar but its probably because he talks very fast . Basically Jesus has to be either a liar, a madman or the son of God..if he is a liar he can't be a prophet can he? I mean the bible itself is basically just historically all there no question on its existance no one questions that ! the old testament (the Torah ..from the dead sea scrolls etc has complete copies of Isaiah) 10,000+ remaining fragments of the new testament its not worth the arguement on that bit. Its fair to totally question its truthfulness of course as you will, my Dad did that but not its existance. The new testament is completely radical not a mighty God but humbleness and meekness... Islam is the only NON Christian religion that makes it an article of faith, an obligation to believe in Jesus as a great Prophet of God not the son of God and his birth of a virgin that is Mary. Mary is the most honoured woman in Islam and a whole chapter in the Quran is named after her. Not even the Holy Prophet's wife Khatijah nor his daughter Fatimah is mentioned by name anywhere in the Quran. The Jews till today do not accept Jesus as told in the Bible, "he came into his own but his own rejected him." We Muslims have accepted Prophet Jesus and his Mother on the authority and command of God and his final Messenger. I believe, we fall into the worldly definitions and as a result miscommunicate! - Brother, you did not leave the religion of Abraham, Moses and all the prophets, but you accepted Mohammed as the messenger of god! So Brother, you basically followed Christ and accepted Mohammed as the messenger of god!!
