1-no he didn't. He left Christianity because of his discoveries. The internal and external contradictions in the bible and such. 2-The word agnostic says it all. He believes in a higher power, but he doesn't believe in Christianity because of it's errors. 4-I never said he converted to some other faith 5-Your'e right. By not believing in Islam he is wrong. But at the same time he's not wrong in what he found. He never said anything untrue about Christianity. All the things he stated were facts. I've read his two books misquoting jesus and jesus interrupted, and they are all backed up with primary sources and research. If I want to learn about Islam I will read the Quran, the Hadith's and the biography of Muhammad. In addition, I will listen to mainstream Muslim scholars to help me understand Islam. That is not to say that someone else outside the fold of Islam is going to misrepresent Islam, it just makes more sense to hear it from the main sources. In this case, Yusha grossly misrepresents Christianity and the Bible and the thought of where to even begin overwhelms me. One point however are his comments about how Muslims do not believe in the Bible yet he will appeal to the Bible to prove the coming of Muhammed. This alone is disturbing because he contradicts himself and it is logically inconsistent.

Muslims dont simply say a hadith is authentic because we cherry pick and like it. It is done through isnad criticism. So we definitely know that this came from the prophet Muhammad and that he said it. Most of the the pillars of islam and how to pray, pay zakah, fast, perform Hajj come to us through Multiple transmission (more than 50 companions of the prophet Muhammad narrated it and passed it down to us). He used to be a Youth Minister and studied the bible and its history and ended up excepting islam.

that is not true my friend. There is many different scholarly perspectives on one hadith. For example you hear Joshua evans label so hadith more "authentic" than others as if there are degrees to truth. There are more and more Qu'ranic manuscrips being found..one was found within 5 years or so and has been studied to a great degree...it is older than the manuscript the one found in Egypt is, which is what your current qu'ran is based on...within the different manuscripts there were many errors and contradictions found, that go beyond spelling and grammar...for example, muslims claim the Qu'ran is written in the heavely language of Arabic, but in the Qu'ran that is most read has non arabic words in it (please research for youself), furthermore, the book of Mariam says that Mariam (Mary) is the sister to Aaron and Moses, who lived thousands of years before Mary, who is the mother of Jesus. Muslims make many accusation toward the bible, but never deal with their own book, that is plagued with many mistakes...
