I agree. But maybe because I grew up in Chicago so I may be a bit biased. But I do find it very disheartening and at times infuriating when people who call themselves fans leave nasty and very critical comments on The Pete and Sebastian podcast channel specifically towards Sebastian. It looks as though most love Pete Corealle and can't say enough good things about him. But they constantly bash Sebastian. So I often end up giving those trolls a piece of my mind. I feel like they just don't understand where he's coming from and they just have a very negative perspective of him. So my protective side comes out. Probably because I've often been misjudged and attacked unfairly too but no one ever stood up for me.

That was one of the best interviews I've ever seen. Both of you were so open & real. And, as you mentioned, I love that Sebastian didn't feel the need to show his comedic side throughout the interview. It helps us, as an audience, to see the real person behind the comedian, as well as people who suffer with things like anxiety, self esteem & over thinking to share a sort of trauma bond with people we respect from afar that we may not have ever had a chance to without your platform. Thank you!

@1:15 …. I teared up too. Italian upbringing is all about family and togetherness, but anything you do in life that involves following your passion whatever it may be doesn’t come without sacrifice and as you get older and your parents get older sometimes you wonder if it was all worth it. Missing birthdays, Christmas, Mother’s Day, just poppin over the house, seeing a relative at Wegmans grocery store, bringin ur car down the street to have your great uncle check it out or just as simple as Sunday Sauce doing nothing but watching football all day hangin round the house. The little things. 😢
