It's neat to see my city like this. A lot of the grass has overgrown due to quarantine so the drive around town looks different. Thanks for the video.

Awe Lewisville! I grew up in Argyle which is near Lewisville. I remember as a kid going to the public pool and the skating rink Interstate Skate if I remember correctly! Thanks for sharing and taking me back to my childhood! Much ❤️ from Texas!

Weird that you started off on Main Street in "Old Town" Lewisville, but went the opposite direction of the views. At the 1:20 mark, if you had turned left you could have headed towards some residential areas. Had you turned right, you would have had a more scenic (and a bit cleaner) view and still been on the same street at 3:00 that you turned left on. A shame it was overcast on that day.

I lived in Lewisville as a child from 1974 to 1983. It sure has changed a lot since then.

My family has been here from the beginning. It’s changed drastically. As soon as you turned right off Main Street in old town, you pretty much turned right in the the sketchiest part. If you had turned left, you would have ended up in the historic home district. Very beautiful Victorian homes. Also, when you turned right off of Main Street, right there on the corner is a house that’s now a restaurant. It was the home our the towns only doctor, he was a doctor for Bonnie & Clyde, and their gang. They had a couple hideouts in Lewisville.

When I went through Lewisville again a number of years back, I was sad to see that they tore down the Victorian home across from the hospital on W Main St. It had a large Windmill kind of toward the back and there was also a private school named Windmill Conservatoire on the property. I understand that all of it was torn down around 2004.

I live here, too. I call it 'Loserville.' I actually like it, but I am from Midland which REALLY sucks so.. it's all relative/perspective. I like all the water we have up here. Lots of wildlife even in the city: coyotes, possums, tons of birds, squirrels and rabbits. DFW airport is 10 mins away from the south side of the city. Equidistant from Ft Worth, Dallas and Denton.

Company I work for in California just broke ground in this city. Taking my California wage and moving in about a year. Always will love California, but as a recently divorcee and father to 4 boys, I simply can't afford to live in California anymore. Lewisville, TX 2022 here I come !!

I lovveee living here in Old Town its such a cute small community , cute mom & pop stores, restaurants a lot more quiet than the other side of the business district of Lewisville ex Main St or 121 , close to the airport , i personally didnt want to live in Grapevine although its beautiful nor other close by areas .. Flower Mound, Carrollton .. i love the water i felt ok after leaving Houston where we had the beaches , Gulf of Mexico etc ive enjoyed living here in my amazingly cute apt ! Didnt want to live in the bigger urban parts of Dallas as long as it remains nice and quiet here ill remain here

@JeppyBlizzard4 жыл бұрын
LISD is the school system and I’d say they’re pretty good. Living here wise, lewisville tends to have a higher crime rate than flower mound but there are good neighborhoods in lewisville!

Don’t send them to Lewisville schools. If you can, get them in flower mound schools.
