I do typically roll with the ribbon/dynamic combo on electric guitar, but I also *love* the sound of an LDC on an amp-just full yet gritty clarity-and despite the mileage you can get out of, say, an SM57 and/or an M160, I'd argue a single LDC about a foot off the grille is The Sound when you think of '60s pop and rock (unless they were just going direct, of course!).

Yeah the bass sound for me was so impressive! This might have to be our go to bass mic from now on haha
