Notice you started on the 2i2 for this video…I gave my 4th gen 4i4 to a friend. I lived it a lot. Are these all exactly the same..converters,preamps,etc…do,you know? Hear any differences between the big one and the little one?

omg thank you but how can i open up a midi track without dragging a groove in
@denk_studios27 күн бұрын
@whiteyshred4330 you're welcome. Do the same steps on loading the plug in and then open your midi mapper. If in Reaper highlight the area you want to have midi and click insert on the top menu then hit midi track, double click on the track and you should see the mapper, looks like a piano on the left.

The Pyle seems to be ever so slightly muddier, the Sure has a little more clarity. I think if someone was doing their recording with nothing but pyle microphones, nobody would know any different. I would bet the large difference between the 2 would come down to the lifetime and durability of the mics. Someone with a garage band, or doing small gigs could likely get away with the Pyle equipment, but they will probably replace it in 5 years or so. The Sure equipment will probably last 20 years or more depending on how it is taken care of. You might notice more difference if they were played back to back, or 2 guitars on the same track etc, but someone could definitely use that sound they get out of the pyle as part of their "sound" or "tone" also and just buy a ton of them for when one fails.

Also, if you haven’t already, would you mind doing a video on mixing acapella/stacked vocals? That’s my favorite thing to do in the studio, but I’m not good at mixing 3 part harmonies with a main melody/vocal line so it sounds balanced and full without being overpowering
@denk_studiosАй бұрын
Yeah for sure! Thanks for the video idea! I have a few examples of this I could show.

Thanks so much, this is making me think about tracking differently. Up to now, I thought it was fine as long as I didn't clip. I failed to take into account the number of tracks that can add up, plus FX and having to turn everything WAY down across the board so as not to clip the master bus. Thanks.

there is no magic trick to get bass on your phone you change the sound and it is no longer bass 😞
@benjafarber17936 ай бұрын
You’re correct in your approach. Saturation is the way to go. There are other ways to get richer harmonics too. The original 808 bass drum circuit used a triangle wave as its foundation I believe. Low pass filtering square & triangle waves is nice. I just hate that phone speakers are the reason all the 808s sound like farts now. 😒
@rlbink24986 ай бұрын
I’m sorry but I barely hear that sub even after. Also, doesn’t make the bass too loud or present on headphones or car speakers?

I wish to win the Scarlett interface as i said by the behringer um2 today when i woke up done my chores i went to my studio trying to put some vocals i was surprised i too noisy in a way that i cant even record nothing the signal is starting to switch up when i increase the mic volume to almost the fullest and theres no clipping by that time but background noise 🙆🏿♂️🙆🏿♂️🙆🏿♂️I'm broken indeed i just wish to win the focusrite interface 💔🤞🤞

Pyle sounds good until it's in a mix with better mics, or layered with other tracks using the same mic. I changed the hair thin wire inside, for 18g and it sounded better, but still not good enough. You can't fix "cheap" with an eq.

I just started using Reaper so its kind of overwhelming atm - there're just so many different ways to do things and a lot of people online have already personalized thier UI to an extent that seems so different than what I'm seeing on the default UI. The way you explain it makes it really easy to follow along.
