The first guild a joined in my first hour was an absolute blast, they helped me. Gave me silver and, boosted me and taught me about the game. And then later on i left in good will for a nice PVP guild.

the ganking guilds are also infesting hell gates now too. they camp the boss just out of name render, and once they hear the boss activate, they rush in and kill the person. take their stuff and retreat back to wait on the next person to enter.

i just started the game but i guess my background in games like these helped a little, i decided early on that ill simply choose one fighting path, 1 weapon type(frost staffs), 2 gathering tools, mining and wood(i insist on making my own staffs and selling all the normal and good ones i make simply because it seems fun to provide for myself) and i simply fight in a lot of solo dungeons to grind levels in cloth armor and weapons

I have avoided all that mistakes. Thanks to the one who introduced me to the game. Although, I almost made the mistake of leveling up all tools when I was going solo. 😂 I did not join their guild right away but I'm glad I already did. I declined more than 5 guilds before joining my friend's guild.

@@tzitzi5575 certain things you have to keep in mind, first I have a lot of free time because of my business running on its own, since I have free time I spend most of it online. Second, you have to get in a guild which can clear dungeons, you make an easy 50-60k per dungeon (t4), run it 4-5 times a day. Then you should check albiononline2d (dot) com to check market prices, Lew has a video on that. You also want to venture into black zones, since you'll be focused on silver (which can't be looted) you get a lot from there. Then comes trading, there is no point on crafting low tier stuff, just gather and sell, check albiononline2d (dot) com for market prices, gather stuff and sell until you get t5 mastery of at least 1 profession, then gather uncommon, rare and exceptional t5 items, craft them and sell. Make yourself a safe or normal route which you follow, learn your map... That's all I can say right now as I am only t6 atm

About the black zone, been out a couple of times with the intention to treasure hunt but I've found exactly 0 treasures for a combined 3 hours iirc. I can't even find full resources in the t3-4 zones, everything's always gathered up when I find it and there's no one around me.

I would say going to black zones right now is a big nono unless you are a guild or wearing T5-6 enchanted. The amount of ganking invisibly groups right now mean the chance of being rooted is near 70%

Thanks of giving out this information. I recently got my first Guild Request and I didnt think on joining a guild that early, or was just planning on making my own guild at some point. As well as the leveling tools tip sounds useful but the leveling system for the tools and other items is weird.

If you are still deciding on a guild and constantly get spammed by invitations, you can turn on reject all invites until you're ready. Do so by clicking on Game Settings (cogwheel top right) -> Social (left menu) -> Auto-Deny Guild Invites (scroll down right menu).

Thanks for the information! That last point really was a little bit unexpected, but the rest was logical. Luckily I had a pretty strange feeling when I was a T1 naked guy in the starter town while receiving a guild invite, so I declined. Seems like the best decision in my life XD I'm currently exploring the game for myself, I'm just a random T2 fire mage. It also took me pretty long until I realized that I am able to equip T3 Stuff lmao. That point where you said that you should mostly buy ur equipment instead of crafting it will probably be pretty helpful. Anyways, thx for the video :D

I'm tier 5 archer and I craft all my gear but I don't use expert gear, uncommon adept was cheaper for me so its kinda funny seeing people dump tons of cash into expert n stuff when its less cost effective XD. My bow is tier 4 but is good rare so its equal to a tier 6 bows... Its nice :)

I've experienced every one of these mistakes. 1. Being a potato in potato farming? Check 2. Overuse of LP? Check 3. Carrying Everything? Check, lost all my tools and gear first time I died in red zone 4. Leveling all the tools? Check, my guild leader scolded me for this XD 5. No Backup Gear? Check, tho after I died for the first time I started making backup gear 6. Afraid of Black Zones? Check, tho I plan on going there when I get to T5 or T6 :V

The only pitfalls I've made are that I want to level all my gathering at first, then again I want to be able to craft all Tier 5 myself so I can be self sustaining in the event of deaths, and that the black zone seemed scary.....the rest I've thankfully evaded, especially potato farming.

only mistake i've made involves guilds. but I don't intend on joining one for the purpose of a guild. I Made my own and just use it as a second island to craft/repair all my stuff and refine my resources for higher bankroll. (in less than 2 weeks I've max leveled both my main island and the guild island and tier 5'd all the buildings. That way if any of my discord/youtube friends wanna jump in with the hype, they have a guild waiting for them and don't have to worry about dumping silver into the city shops.

and yes, my guild has a high tax. as you can see a person's silver when you scan them, I keep my silver with the guild and have it take 100% to the guild bank for safe keeping. if they think I have nothing on me. then they are less likely to attack. actually got a whisper that said "what the F*** did you waste all your money on?" then the guy knocked me down until I answered him with "I've been killed 3 times today". then he killed me.

I made the first mistake. I didn't know there is a tax system in the guild. Most common thing I know about guild in other games is a massive party of players (clan). ClanVClan, ClanVAll events etc.

I have been playing for 2 days, I sell anything I do not use or won’t use, so most of the time my inventory is just some gathering tool(s) and my gear that I wear, and when I go back to the city with 200 iron ore, 200 tin and 100 copper, and I just buy my equipment but still grind rescources, I also grind mining but idk why it takes so damm long to do it, at tier III gathering rn, hundreds of steel bars and still not far on adept mining, but my smelting is very high already

Good Thing the first Guild I have until now don't ask for Tax. We have 0% tax. Which is really nice for newbie players. They even provide free bees for newer members.

The guild thing is a big problem, if only there is a was way to report those guilds, especially that me and my guild wars 2 mates were planning to make our own guild and we put the most lower tax possible ( 5%). for granting I mostly focus what I need for my tank build .

nooo, you shouldn't have told them about bz gathering so i can gather them all peacefully xD jokes aside, if you wanna gather in bz here's my tip: 1. if you focus on gathering, just bring gathering armor set and backpack and you don't need to bring bag, just bring your ox and pies. don't forget the gathering tool and journals (empty) for the one material you are focusing (which is the main purpose of the gathering armor set, to gather one specific material) for additional income. just bringing one or two of the journal that has the same tier as your gathering level is enough. for example, you are expert lumberer, bring 1-2 expert lumberjack journals (empty) instead of master journals because this way, the journal will keep on filling up everytime you gather t5-t6 lumber instead of only t6 lumber. after they turn to (full) head back to town, sell your things and repeat on different location or different side of the map. let the resources on the location you just farmed regenerate. 2. always mount n gather. when you click on a resource node while riding, you will get off the mount and start gathering. after that, always ride your mount again first before moving. always stay near your mount, near enough you just need to click your mount to mount up instead of moving first after clicking the mount then mount up. this is to help you on the next tip. 3. when you see a player name on the edge of your screen, be cautious and mount up immediately. don't get too comfy or you'll regret it. after mounting up, move around until you don't see the name again or the player passes through you so you can go back to gathering. but if the player then unmount and start attacking, just run first until you don't see the name again then start farming again. try to memorize the name for next encounter which is prolly sooner than expected. i was never late on mounting up n escape so idk if the gathering armor set can help you escape or not. also use weapons that can help you escape like axe, bow etc i think that's pretty much it. gl on bz farming

if alone it's better to not bring fighting gears in case you get ganked by 5 man party doing RDs in black zone (and this tactic is affordable to even new comers on low budget. that's why i recommend it) also, this tip allows you to carry until 100% carrying capacity with journeyman ox to reduce time for travel back and forth between town and bz (in case you are lucky to not find any danger). and if that's the case, you won't even be able to fight coz the moment your ox despawn, your carrying capacity percentage should be red. if you wanna fight and gathering then bring highest tier bag and backpack that you can use for increased carrying capacity on foot so you can fight even if your mount is gone but that will increase the travel time and makes gathering efficiency slightly reduced and your fighting capability also reduced due to pork pies and backpack instead of combat food and combat cape. if you truly wanna defend yourself then bring full fighting gears. this will reduce your gathering efficiency even more. also look for sets that can help you when being ganked just in case for worst case scenario. if possible if you wanna fight, try bring at least one friend or two and have silver to spare in case you die

they are all profitable, search for their market value as each market on each city is different... Snow/white areas have more stone for example so fort sterling has a lower price on stone ... Forest areas have more wood so Lymhurst's wood price is lower .

What is the primary, secondary, and tertiary resources in the highland biome? Also, I've heard that the stone resource can only be "flat" and not enchanted or whatever? I'm not sure that's the correct terminology. I was wondering what this means. Thanks!

The guild that i joined in is good. Our guild master is 1month offline but he always help us ang when using thing in the guild island there is no tax. Many members are offline for months but they are powerfull they carried me in the dungeon

Honestly, I got really lucky with my first guild. They wanted to have 0% tax, and free utilities, unlike the utilities in the monopolized towns.
