@@jonahaustinfishing1900 I had a hard time cause I used my older brothers baitcaster and loved it and he’s more experienced than me so he had the brakes, drag and spool tension knob all set up perfectly but when I got mine i didn’t know what brakes were. I’m use to a spinning rod but I watched a lot of youtube videos on the brakes and I absolutely love it. Also i’m gonna subscribe :)

My favorite is probably going to be 17lb mono braid causes to much problems.

Happy bday man and aw man love both but i would say the black max cuz its cheaper and the rods better. but if you want a better reel lews is the way to go. But there both gonna catch fish so I would go with the cheaper

Lews LFS yes it has an Aluminum Frame and with a 200 dollar budget you absolutely look for an Aluminum Frame Reel, it’s more rigid and will last 10 times as long as Graphite….

I feel dumb i bought one of these and used it 2 times and broke the tip in my car and then left it outside for like 3 months and it got sun bleached and used it again and broke more of the tip and i threw it away, the reel still works 😂
