It was fun watching CC dimes, pre Olympics break, zing right through Fever players hands, as they weren't prepared to catch her bullets. They still need some work converting those passes, and when those improve, CC's assists will go through the roof. For example, if KM, LH, AB and TF each convert one in ten CC passes next season that they were missing last season, CC's assists improve by a lot. Crazy!

You might want to rethink that. Math doesn't work that way. Even if they all had the same amount of passes as before, the absolute maximum improvement would still be 10%.

@@smturner68 My example (hypothetical of course) was assuming the same number of passes. But yes, I see my error in the total increase now. Thanks! Hopefully, my point: With each of the four players making a small increase in conversions, CC's assists will dramatically climb, was not lost.

Yes, Kelsey and Lexi indeed benefited from Caitlin’s long, precise passes, and credit to the two for actually making the buckets, this, in comparison to players such as Angel on other teams who miss easy shots. Seems that K and L to C are like Kate was at Iowa.

The only one I saw when looking at WNBA records is Courtney Vandersloot, she led the league 5 different years, 2nd for 2 years, I believe in the 12 years she has been in the league she was top 10, in 10 of those years. Her rookie season, and this past year with NY are the 2 were she wasn’t top 10. Nobody else stood out. I believe Alyssa Thomas only beat Courtney by 2 assists in 2023.
