my analysis of the mv to try to explain some of the symbols 🥸🧙‍♀️ first off, the mv establishes that lexie and her friend died at the end of fortuna since we see them standing together at the crash and the memorial covers both of their desks (0:24). while fortuna is all about the wheel of fortune tarot card, magician is about the magician tarot card. this card represents manifestation - the ability/power to make your wishes come true. in fortuna, lexie’s character seemed like she was being controlled by fate until the end when she decides to go against it. now, she realized that she can control fate herself and everything else too. this is reflected in her confident lyrics like about creating the sun/moon or “it’s my creation all the time”. the magician card is closely tied to the concept of transformation, and we see lexie transform into several different beings. i think it’s supposed to mirror the lion (2:01), angel (1:27), eagle (1:51), and bull (1:43) in the lyrics. these four creatures are found in the corners of the wheel of fortune card from 'fortuna' and they also represent the four elements of fire, earth, air, and water. these elements also correspond to the wand, cup, pentacle (coin), and sword in the lyrics. they match up perfectly with the creatures. so for example the lion version of lexie which corresponds to fire has the wand (3:13) which corresponds to fire too, and so on. these four items/tools are found on the card of the magician. anyways going back to the four creatures - they all combine to form a sphinx, which is depicted on the wheel of fortune card holding a sword. and we see student lexie holding a sword 3:15. and it may sound crazy but these four creatures are also commonly depicted surrounding jesus, which kind of makes sense considering the way that rebirth ties into the story and the lyrics about “holy breath”. so yes lexie is a magical holy being lmaoo i’m not exactly sure how the guy ties into all this but some people have pointed out that the death tarot card in fortuna has death wearing a knight suit like him. the card also shows him carrying a flag with a flower which we see attached to his knight suit (3:08). so it’s possible that maybe he represents what led to the friend dying in the first place? another interpretation of the magician card is the importance to share the insights with others so maybe lexie is helping the guy to break out of the cycle too or something and join her on her journey of transformation/creation - like jesus appearing to his disciples post resurrection lol. i think it’ll be more clear in the next mv 😃 random other details: - there are 6 swords in the background (2:38) which is reminiscent of the six of swords tarot card. the card represents a state of transition. maybe the last mv will feature the ten of swords card which represents finality with no chance of revival :0 or it's just a cool set with no relevance - the wand used here appears to be a crux ansata, which is related to the ankh egyption symbol tied to eternal life. it has a circular loop instead of oval, and it has its roots in coptic christianity - the title card 0:37 features the infinity symbol which is in the tarot card too. it also has a heart and the power of love seems to be a common underlying theme through fortuna and magician

@@user-bf3uz2gt5f just pointing it out as a possible connection, but it's not necessarily the focus of the mv! it's all just interpretation lol so maybe i'm totally off. lexie is no stranger to biblical references (like in her song a babel cat), so i feel like there's also biblical references in fortuna/magician that intersects with the tarot references. the way that she chooses to die for her friend in fortuna but gets resurrected, the four creatures being associated with christian imagery of jesus, the lyrics about "holy breath", etc.

I figured out what EH ALA means. It is written as ܐܠܗܐ (ʼĔlāhā) in Biblical Aramaic. The H=8 and L=12 are transposed. John 8:12 I am the light of the world. I'm loving all the Tarot References - for anyone not familiar to Tarot - "The Magician" is a Tarot Card that's all about setting your intentions and creating the world around you as well as manifestation. The Pentacles, Cups, Wands, and Swords are References to the 4 different card suits in Tarot. The Knight symbolizes the Knight Card. The Eagle, Bull, Lion and Angel she refers to are all shown in the four corners of "The World" Card and stand for the elements as far as I know.

My guess is that Fortuna is the story that Fate originally had in store for them-however, by setting those very events in motion, fate also provided the girl with the very items that caused her to remember her identity as the Magician. Without fate's meddling, she would have never become the magician because she would have lacked the wand and the pentacles (lemons). Here she is likely depicted to be crossing the bridges of dreams, reality, and afterlife, retracing the path of fate back to where it first started before it all went haywire, which is why there is nothing on the paper at the end because she has yet to write a new one (probably the sequel?). In Fortuna, she sang about how the spinning of the wheel crushed the dreaming King, and here she sings about climbing back up after the spin. I'm guessing her waking up = her becoming the magician, and there's a separate hand of fate that spun the wheel in the first place in ways it was not supposed to go.

I'm into tarot so I noticed, but this video has not only references to the magician tarot card. the magician card is about being able to create anything out of nothing and having the power for it, like a magician, and on the card there are all four elements - wand, cup, pentacle and sword. the wheel of fortune (like we saw in fortuna) here is represented through the lion, eagle, bull and angel, which are on the card. they are also all present in the world card, so maybe that will be something :D

@@m_6nus in Fortuna she was basically fortold by tarot cards that she will have fortune aka lots of luck, will become a star and then comes death. Now many said that she herself has died but death in tarot also represents some kind of 'end' that leads to change. in fortuna she sang about how luck comes and goes and how dependant she is on it. which we see here. here she says that 'i remembered who i am' and instead of relying on luck, she empowers herself through 'i raised the sun moon and stars' hecc, i can do whatever i want basically. she shows herself as the magician tarot card, aka she believing that she can create any world she wants. in fortuna we saw how she was at school, would be in a classroom with a strict teacher, then she'd be surrounded by the fame she wanted to hide from (like we see in the car). The luck she depended on was coming and going, so she was lucky but then also unlucky, the wheel of fortune always indicates fate and something being meant to happen, be it bad or good. here in magician there is an empty classroom, and the only people with her are her friends. because in HER world, she doesn't need no one else. Instead of relying on fate, luck and things out of her control, she takes pen and paper in hand and manifests her life by writing it down. She is in control now

The only comparison I can accept and find more valid is that Lexie is kind of similar to KOM_I's (EX-WEDNESDAY CAMPANELLA) imagination and artistry level , but they are both unique and eccentric artists in their own right. They also both pursue their own creative freedom that's why they decided to become independent. Pls if u want to compare Lexie at least compare her to genius artists like her.
