I think the people who gravitate towards RM latest album are… 1. Peeps who has musical background 2. People who lived or is living life full of adversary, hardships, rough life 3. People who want to have their brains scratched.

To get more context about this album, I suggest watching the video he did with Jimin on their channel. They basically sat down and listened to all the songs on the album and RM kinda explained what he was going thru when he wrote it and why he wrote it. I was kinda confused too when I listened to this album, but that video really cleared some things up.

This is my favorite RM album to date. No skips and I can't stop listening to it!

Do you have a favorite song off the album? Mine is probably Nuts.

@@crystalsnow1138 yeah I think it's nuts for me as well, or maybe Domodachi, or.. I don't really know. I love them all.

This was the different type of music I didn’t know I needed but my heart did as soon as I listened to it! 💜 also your facial expressions were cracking me up 😂. Don’t worry you were not the only one that stopped knowing what to expect with this album while listening to it! The Come Back To Me MV is so good!

I have so many thoughts on RPWP, but I'll try to keep it condensed haha. I love so much about this album because it has kept me thinking all this time since its release. I can't tell you if it's my favourite RM album or not, because it does feel like such a continuation from his other work to me. Experimental hip hop is a genre that I've always found elusive but RM killed it even with my limited understanding. I prefer pop sounds, catchy hooks and melodies that get stuck in my head, so this album really messed with that for me. But what stood out from my first listen and remains to this day is the transitions between songs - I HAVE to listen to this album in full almost every time because it is such an experience. And the music production and instrumentals are some of my favourite ever. But yes, there are parts I struggle with too just because of how unconventional they are and even lyrically they are brilliant but confronting and twisty. This album is about contradictions and I think RM has pulled that off perfectly in every way possible and even if this isn't my favourite album ever, it's one that is gonna be with me for life. Well done, RM.

I feel you. Your first reaction was kinda like mine hahaha. Since it's so experimental and I'm not used to this type of music I didn't really know how to feel about it at first, but it grew on me over time.

A lot of the instrumentalisation is from real instruments not electronic music....that why music critics are giving this album good reviews...its different. You shd listen to it again....otherwise we take it you just relegated Namjoon music brilliance to "confused" and elevator music......
