I know a lot about cars, but nothing about motorcycles and after 35 years not being on a bike have got to scratch that itch before it's too late and am looking to get back on a 125 again just for summer fun, but I have a question. Ignoring Euro 5 engines, I can see that there are several different variations of 125 engines being used on these Chinese bikes. Are they from different factories? I only asked as I'm confused as to why the Lexmoto website puts the cheapest 125 (ZSB) at 11.4bhp, while the Tempest GT only gets 9.7bhp? Are these accurate measurements or generally estimated ratings. Thanks for any insight.

Hi these numbers are based on performance during Testing. Both models come from separate factories, the ZSB was measured at 9kW@9000rpm max output and the GT was measured at 7.2kW@8500rpm. We are always striving for the best possible output without increasing the prices and each model was offered reasonably well priced.
