The biggest challenge that I'm facing almost everyday here in Canada with my 2017 model is the car is in the list of number 1 pick for thieves.Can't take off my eyes off the car for more than 10 minutes, I think this possibly could be a challenge for all other Canadian GX owners. It would be huge favor if you make a video or share 10 products that you recommend to protect our cars. Specially your thoughts on good ECU locker, GPS trackers with no need to direct wiring to battery, Remote signal blocker or maybe even ask all other GX owners to share how they are protecting their GX in the comments so we all can add to our knowledge. Halfway thru the cycle I stopped it and removed the key fob. After taking it apart and using a dryer, it still worked! First off, Upgrade your battery to a 27F with a higher cold cranking amperage and use gold plated terminal contacts. I have videos in my library for both. Also, if you have an aftermarket alarm system, you can change the option to have your starter rev longer so it doesn't die on you. Some alarm systems are tied to the tach meter which doesn't work too well in colder climates. Alarm system installers usually note this and do a second option of putting the starter on a timer instead of tach reader.

Hey Tommy, i believe you turn your steering wheel all the way to the right to uncover a screw on the part of the shroud closest to you, then turn the steering wheel all the way to the left to uncover another screw. After you’re done there should be one more screw under the shroud. The entire clamshell of the shroud should detach if you pull it apart with a little strength. There should only be 3 screws. No need to remove any levers.

Hey GX bob, in my 2013 GX 460 sometimes while turning or changing lanes there is a rapid beeping sound (same sound as if you put the car in 4HI while it's in drive, or if you open the door while the car is moving, just really fast) and the brakes are extremely hard to move. I couldn't find anything online but I might've found something similar related to the brake actuator and was wondering if you knew what caused a very fast beep similar to the door open while motion sound, same sound found in your "GX460 Ding Ding Ding Ding Ding chime delete " video. Thanks and love your videos!
@GXBOB2 жыл бұрын
Radar sensors in your bumpers are designed to detect vehicles approaching from adjacent lanes. If it detects an approaching vehicle entering the Lexus’ blind spot, you’ll hear the ding ding ding. If the driver signals to change lanes while a vehicle is in the blind spot, you’ll soldo get ya ding ding . The radar sensors can alter their detection range based on signals from the steering angle sensor, which helps the system detect vehicles even when driving on curving roads. Rear Cross-Traffic Alert uses the same sensors to detect oncoming vehicles when a Lexus is backing from a parking spot or when backing from a driveway into a cross-street. A ding ding ding occurs if cross-traffic is detected. The Blind Spot Monitor System with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert can be turned off with the menu button on the right section of your steering wheel. There will be a square button to the left of your “enter” toggle. Just push that button till BSM lights up on your diagnostic screen on your instrument cluster. Then toggle it off or on depending if you want that audible ding ding ding.
@AdamLazhar2 жыл бұрын
@@GXBOB honestly I thought it might've been that because it was a recommendation from a friend to see but there was no nearby car or obstacle around and the base model from 2013 doesn't have blind spot monitoring. I think it's a mechanical thing because the traction control light turns on too but I just can't figure out what causes it. I truly appreciate the reply though!

Explanation: The brain contains about 100 billion microscopic cells called neurons. This neurons generates enough electricity to power a lightbulb which makes them an efficient signal conductor. My guess is, the neurons also amplifies the key fob's radio signal (315 MHz in USA / 433 MHz in Europe) thereby making your head a giant relay antenna.
@GXBOB2 жыл бұрын
That makes sense, thanks for the explanation Vivaldi!
@rickmcdowell95502 жыл бұрын
Your "100 billion neurons comment" is correct, the only problem is if you use the "neuron amplification" procedure more than once per day it will cause your hair to fall out until you become totally bald (male or female).
