Everyone has a different perception of drone, but I don't hear any. There's definitely more volume in the middle and higher RPMs, though it's never overbearing and I haven't experienced any resonance that is bothersome. YMMV.

AOAA and Rausch Creek in PA, or head up north to NH/VT/ME. You can also point south and explore the Pine Barrens in NJ.
