@@make_adc_great_again5889 Head gasket, 5th injector, EGR, DPF. There are even more but these four are most common. All very costly to repair. These cars nearly killed Lexus in Europe.

I told myself i would buy the diesel version of the same car in Europe but after researching this 2.2L Diesel engine, its a no go for me. Looks like the worst engine Lexus ever came up with.

I own one with the 2.5 V6 and it is such a silky smooth car to drive. This buzzy diesel seems like it would be terrible and not luxury.

These engines are actually a pile of junk, lots of problems with the headgasket, egr, etc..

Your wrong. Actually this car with a good service, they are the best . I got one, I’m a mechanic and I’ll keep it in good shape plus i did learn how to know them better. They are amazing.

​@@joaocidades5728. Is it reliable tho? I have this car also and the engine died because of egr so me and my dad had to rebuild it. I also now know almost every bit of the engine and how to put it together. Main issue with theese is the egr, if you can, then disable it. The engine has head gasket problems. The last thing is that the engine uses piezo injectors which can fail at random moments and get more and more expensive. Other than that the car is perfect and I love it.

Hi I've got a is220 2007 I've just bought a stereo from ebay out off a is250 the with a sauna but I can't get it working because of one of the plugs are different any idea how a can get it going.

Cześć nabyłem niedawno 220d i mam kilka pytań. Czy to normalne, że wskazówka temperatury nigdy nie dochodzi do środka, tylko trzyma się na takiej wartości jak przez większość czasu u ciebie na filmiku? Czy to normalne, że 1. bieg jest taki zmulony i nie ma siły ruszać? Podejrzewam problem z zaworem sterujacym turbo w swoim egzemplarzu, ale może coś podpowiesz. Dodam, że przed przeczyszczeniem tego zaworu auto było muliste na wszystkich biegach i łapało turbodziurę. Pozdrawiam

Mam to auto i mogę potwierdzić. Wskazówka zatrzymuje się przed środkiem i to jest temperatura robocza. Co do pierwszego biegu to tak również mam to samo, ale myślę że jest to spowodowane sama budowa skrzyni oraz zbyt dużym momentem na pierwszym biegu (w porównaniu do mocy). Turbodziura to standard w tym aucie

@@paulox3882 ogólnie wszystko jest wporzo, na początku był zmulony ale to była wina zawalonego EGRu. Od tamtej pory wymieniłem tylko jakąś końcówkę drążka przy zawieszeniu ale to wiadomo, eksploatacja. Poza tym nic tylko jeżdżę i tankuje

Mój z 2009 podobnie jeśli jeździ się szybko + autostrada. W 300km trasie w cyklu mieszanym ale bez ecodrivingu potrafi pokazać 6.4l, ale nawet z ecodrivingiem cięzko jest zejść poniżej 6L
