This is by far the best setup for the AWD models since they don't make midpipes. I got the exact same setup Vibrant performance resonator 1792 with a muffler delete and I installed a Takeda stage 2 Cold Air Intake.

You need MForce tune if you want many pops but it maybe pops once when you downshift without the tune

Ultra quiet is what I'm running believe it or not lol I highly recommend it if you're gonna do this set up. Or if you plan on running a muffler that isn't that loud

I have a v8 LS460 trying to do a muffler and resonator delete and add vibrant 1792 resonators. I like the muffler and resonator noise but ppl say it’s obnoxiously too annoying. I liek the sound at idle though but doesn’t the vibrant resonator makes the car quieter during idle. I want to hear my car breathe during idle. Did it still idle good, I didn’t hear it due to the background noise in your vide like wind, etc.

Muffler delete is just cutting the muffler out and replacing that missing section with a steel pipe. That's all there is to it. I'm planning to go one further and removing the secondary cats so there's more free flow exhaust gasses from the engine straight through.

I notice you have your car lowered a bit. I have a 2008 Lexus IS 250 AWD and wonder...how does it ride lowered a bit? I know with the AWD system it can causing vibration and shaking at certain speeds.

i have the same setup and its more or less to eliminate a lot of the raspiness/drone that happens with just a muffler delete on this car as the resonator helps eliminate high frequency noise, also it definitely gives the car a more full and deep tone

Stopped several times for the noise, mainly because I drive in manual mode to keep the revs high because I like the sound lol. But yeah cops here don't like cars with no muffler, even though it's not crazy loud

He has the standard bottle style. You can tell cause the ultra quiets are.... well quiet. Quieter than this at least. And also he said in another comment that the resonator is 12" long. The ultra quiet doesn't come in a 12" size

Another question. Do you get exhaust pop on deceleration? Currently I have removed my mufflers (still got secondary cats and stock resonator in) and my exhaust pops on deceleration and its quite noticeable even in the cabin. I like that and was wondering if you're getting any with this resonator?

Nah I don't personally. I only ever get some pops at low RPMs on deceleration if I have the AC blasting in the summer LOL sometimes if it's cold out on cold starts but that rarely ever happens as I drive the car in the summer only
