I bought the cla 250 and i love when you turn off the car and when you down, the lights turn off so excelence. The seats and all the car is amazing how turn off the lights

I've just come out of a 2019 Lexus IS300H which was a company car and am going into a CLA250 Premium Plus which arrives on the 7th March. I hated the Lexus at first because it looked very dated but it really grew on me.

How do you compare after having used both?

@@kprommoon Ive had the CLA250 Premium Plus now for about 6 months. The Lexus is a more luxurious car. It was more comfortable, more refined, better put together but it did look a little dated inside. It was definitely more economical. I miss the ventilated seats but don't miss the heated steering wheel. I don't miss the memory seating positions as its only me driving. I do miss adaptive cruise control which is a paid upgrade on the Merc. The CLA250 is a lovely car but it's definitely not as well put together. I gained Android Car and Apple Play and i use neither of them. The wireless phone charging is too weak to be useful. I've used the automated parking feature twice...most of the time it can't find a parking solution, when it does it's slow, when it works it's awesome and gets me into spaces I wouldn't try. It's not as comfortable as the Lexus and the drive isn't as smooth. However it's far more fun to drive, it looks more modern and the entertainment system is better. The adaptive headlights on the Premium Plus are stunning if you do a lot of mileage at night. I'd say the cars are broadly equivalent. If I spent more time on motorways I'd pick the Lexus. If I spent most of my time on country roads or in the city, I'd want the Merc.

The gear shift on the column should be in every car. You can open the space up between you and your passenger, giving a nice open feeling in the front. I learned to drive a 1980 malibu 4 door with the column shifter. Still to this day i think its the best. Good job mercedes 👏.

I just picked up a leased CLA 250 last month. Let me sum it up for you. If styling is the most important factor on your checklist like me, then there is no doubt CLA for sure. If you care about overall values, Lexus is no brainer. CLA racing-like seat is super uncomfortable especially you are wider built. Yes, CLA looks very modern inside out, but that's about it in my opinion. I would say it's the same across all entry level Benz/BMW/Audi. I think if you are leasing a car, go for what makes looking forward to drive daily which CLA meets that point for me in this case. If you are purchasing a car out right, I think there are many options out there.

I much prefer analog gauges to digital ones; the latter look cheap and insubstantial, like a toy, which is especially out of place in an expensive car like the CLA. I'd pick the Lexus anyway because of its superior reliability and its interior for me looks better and more expensive, which sweetens the deal. I prefer the exterior design of the Mercedes, though; I can't wait till that huge spindle grill is phased out of Lexus's design language, though it does look more tolerable here than on other Lexuses.

Lexus..is 100 better than Benz inside the cab..but the engine and performance on the road...i don.t know yet....i hate the leds inside the Benz...makes sick...the anolog sistem is more better that digi sistem with those leds multi colors inside the cab..

Lexus is a better choice PERIOD! Mercedes are overpriced JUNK! Expensive to repair and annually maintain. Where the Lexus is better engineered, no more costly on repairs than a Camry or Corolla. Plus the reliability isn't a question. The dependability will outlast a Mercedes over many more years to come.

The look is on the quiet side but drives great. That used to be the Mercedes description. Except Toyota products, cars were expected to be worked on but with all that electrical components and terrible overall design, cars are perishable products expected to last only during warranty period. You people chose Mercedes over Lexus in comparisons like this justified the trend and allowing manufacturers to continue with the industry wide rip offs. I buy this car because interior looks shiny. I don’t care if it’s worthless after the warranty runs out, nor doesn’t drive as good. This used to be a mocking for mentally challenged. Only until twenty years ago.

Lexus is worlds apart you gotta drive it to feel it. Btw even the camry was a better drive than lower end Mercs. Lexus beats them up to their mid range offerings. The S class is the best car overall bar a Bentley and Rolls.
