Since then my parents have purchased over 4 Mercede models with the oldest one being an 06 E320 model and the latest one being 16. I don't remember the exact models of the other 3 but I will say that all four vehicles including that 94 Lexus are in Immaculate condition and still running like sewing machines. My father always told me if you take care of your car/s it will take care of you. his secret to all his vehicles having little to no major problems. Keep it tuned up. Keep your oil changed & Make sure all fluids are filled. Maybe one day my Lexus will have over 400k miles. Wish me luck!

It's almost 4 years and 40k miles later (58k miles total)....unexpected repairs? $0. Expected repairs/maint? $550, 11 oil changes, 4 wiper blades, 5 air cleaners, 4 interior air cleaners and a battery. So I'm sold on Toyota/Lexus. I enjoy listening and watching all of Scotties videos. One thing he does not tell you is the cost of labor and it amounts too 90% of the repair cost. In my area it averages $110 dollar per hour using a flat rate manual. OEM parts are expensive because they are imported from Germany when repairing a Mercedes. I recently had the water pump replaced on my Mercedes SLK 320. In addition to replacing the pump it is recommended to replace the serpentine belt and thermostat at the same time. Total cost of parts and labor was $910 dollars.
