Remaining Cali cops are absolutely worthless. I have several buddies who were previously employed by State and local law enforcement agencies, and they have all taken their pensions, even partially vested, and taken jobs with family offices and ultra wealthy individuals on what amounts to their private police forces and/or armed forces, strictly deployed to protect the employer and his/her family. Some of these families have ten to twenty officers working for them - with payrolls in the millions per year plus extensive operating budgets for housing, meals, equipment, travel, etc. One family has a budget of $20MM per year for 24/7 dedicated security services. The result of this is the gutting of the State, County and Municipal police forces down to the bottom of the barrel and whatever they can recruit. Any recruits worth their salt end up moving over to the private sector within 3-5 years after incurring hundreds of thousands of dollars in training by the taxpayers. This trend will only accelerate as corporate CEO's demand POTUS style protection behind this UNH CEO killing. Bottom line, the 99 percent of us who rely on our tax paid law enforcement are now sitting here like ducks in a pond with no protection or even response from law enforcement - except when they catch us parking in the wrong spot or forgetting to put out seatbelts on and, God forbid, if we ever do use force to protect ourselves from the lunatic criminals out there. Then they'll be all over our asses. What we have left on our police forces are strictly cowardly revenue generators tasked to issue citations for fines that we have to pay for their selectively enforced laws. If I park on the wrong side of the street on the wrong day it might cost me a couple hundred bucks. Let a homeless nut park his 40-year-old jalopy camper in the same space for a month and nothing is done. Cali cops today are cowardly tools of the political elites.

@ I disagree. Most of Wisconsin police are a little better at chasing and less restricted on PITs than Cali, it’s mainly just the Milwaukee area where they are really bad like Cali. Especially Milwaukee PD
