Everyday at Mod in Japan we get asked what are some good brake pad replacements for my Lexus RC F, GS F, IS F, LC500 and as well as many other various models. For over the last 10 years we have been making recommendations to Lexus owners on the types of brake pads that we believe to be great replacements.
After all the years and conversations we have arrived at these 3 brake pads that we believe we should review and inform the community on. Those are the Project Mu Type NS-C, Project Mu Type PS and the TOMS Racing Performer 600C. In this video we are going to go over the characteristics that make these pads the best street pads on the market for 95% of the Lexus community.
If you are someone that is going to actively track your car this video is not for you this is specifically for people that are daily drivers with some spirited driving on the week. we've compiled this list because we believe these brake pads resolve most of the issues that Lexus driver's face even from their OEM pads and rotors.

NS-C is the new compound that replaced the NS so NS is no longer available

NS-C pretty much as the old NS is just not copper free but characteristics are the same

I bought Toms after this video review. I was shocked by the price but ok I appreciate they are not endless price. I am more shocked they were completely gone within 10 laps….. 10laps!!!! Absolutely terrible and cannot be said to be anywhere near track worthy

They are definitely street pads if you want to go with a track pad there is a NOVEL pad that operates from 0 - 800 degree Celsius that I would recommend but track pads are dusty and noisey
