Couple questions. 1. Did any customizing work had to be done like cutting or welding. 2. I know you need 1jz ecu, and harness to do the swap but what about motore mounts and transmission? 3. Hiw dificult was it to do the swap. I am getting a 2006 lexus is250 auto Rwd and i would definitely like to make more power just all motor no supercharger or turbo, just N/A & Tuned.

4 manual gear....definitely a340e.....the 1jz-gte standard auto box....as expected actually....it gonna waaaaaayyy harder to use back the is250 autobox....

@@AcheLone what about the is250 6 speed? I have one and wanna swap a 1jz in it. Any info would be appreciated

@@jakobsmith3772 that would be the best. i lack info on the 6 speed model conversion though but like any conversion, you'll need an adapter plate between engine and trans, perhaps speed sensor that could mate the two and lastly clutch. i wonder if the 6 speed clutch is 240mm in diameter? if it is, it fits right in. if not then it is gonna be complicated. take my word with a LOT grain of salt though since i NEVER encountered is250 toyota 6 speed EVER at my place. lol
