I'll tell everyone right now, if you're going for a 2nd gen IS, save up the extra $1000 and get the 350. Aside from having an extra 101hp (and yes, the power difference is night and day), the 350 has port injection which means you won't have the carbon build up issues on the intake valves like the diesel, Mini and BMW guys have. But back to the power, how many times can you say you spent $1000 to gain 101hp and suffer no MPG loss or driveability issues? I got my 350 and it's nice knowing i can play with legit sports cars like mustang GTs (up to 2011), 335i, 350Z/G35s, G37 sedans, genesis 3.8s, RT charger/challengers, V6 Camaros (09 and up) and V6 mustangs (2011 and up) and often times win. Meantime, with a 250, you're left playing with stock single cam civics, and celicas and worried you're going to lose.

Alright, so with the rear suspension, after upgrading to adjustable coil overs clicking stopped, andddd with the slow shifts, you can turn up the pressure on your shift solenoids making it act like a dtc/euro and I’m ngl that’s the best thing I’ve done to this car yet was turn those up! It's full house being a Sports luxury (92 k kms or 58k miles) and spectacular condition and gets looks as it's just mint condish!. As for the the rear boot/trunk space, it's great for it's size, im surprised that's listed as a criticism, it's actually a strength..I also own an 08 Accord V6 so I know what a big boot/trunk is!. Back seat space is actually good but I find the rear seat back a little too upright to be supremely comfortable (which my Accord is). At the end of the day its a rear wheel drive sporty -luxury sedan, not a family truckster. It's practical enough and I think of it (and call it) my four door (Nissan) Z.

The cupholders on my IS 350 are the most pathetic dogshit cupholders I've ever used. The one in the center council is shaped like a square, won't fit any mugs or most bottles (unless they're small OR SQUARE SHAPED!!) The center council cupholder is in the rear seat center council, because I decided I'd rather have the option to have the 3 things I put there fit, which isn't an option when half the center cousin is a glove box, and the armrest can't be used when the cupholder is in use with any kind of cup. The door bottle holders are only good certain small bottles the size of disposable ones, and the rear sear cupholder mechanism is so overengineered that they will not open OR close if the arm rest is at a 45° angle or greater. No the cup holders on the IS are not good. They also aren't safe by modern standards, when they retested it in 2012 it failed to get a 5 star rating. If a modern truck hits you dead on when you're not moving and they're going 40mph+ you're dead!! I've seen a video if exactly this also.
