Note the only step not shown in the video is the removal of the screws to unhook the leather around the shift knob from the center console, there are 3-4 screws to remove. Could not hold the camera and remove these at the same time. Some of the screws are shown near the very end of the video, just no footage of them actually being unscrewed (see end of video with 10 secs left).

tarek chaabi to remove the shift knob you just pull down on the leather and pull up/unscrew.

@bcarias2 The shift knob is made by Razo. Actually cut away at the stock clip with a razor and removed it almost completely! It's either that or you have it show.

I got a friend's car that the vent broke for the back seat. Does that just pop out without taking the hole center console out or is there a screw I have to remove? Don't really get a good look at the back of it and wanna take off as little as possible since he's leasing it.

Thanks for the video. I had a question though. Once you remove the center console, are you able to remove the boot cover? I got the same shift knob as you and I'm not sure if I want to cut the clips off just yet, so I was thinking about getting an aftermarket boot cover to replace it.

the drive select button removes, it is a clip, the top separates - you pry it off, it must be done to remove the center console

You can get those tools anywhere...they are cheap around 5 to 10 dollar max.

Pull down on the bag and then twist the knob off, it turns counter clockwise and they unscrew on/off
