Thanks for this. I wanted to add at 4:20 my car did not accordion that piece underneath the shifter, so I simply removed that one screw that's visible here.

Marcus Lam, Thank you for your question! When we film instructions on a specific car, within a certain Make (Lexus for example). We get feedback from customers who tell us the video was similar or helpful to another model within the same make. The RX is probably a bit of a stretch from the IS model, however, you may find some similarities that could assist with your RX project. If there are any similarities, would you please reply back to us here? I'm sure theres plenty of other people with the same issue that could use your input.

​@@MyAirbags thanks for reply. i figured out the issue, it wasn't the physical buttons stuck due to gunk as reported by technician at dealeship, it was the nicro switch that has failed. looking for some replacement from lexus. thanks, i'll try to do a short clip on that one.

Lonnie, When we had this car in the garage we were removing the airbag module from underneath the center console so we didn't film how to remove the shift knob. We do have other vehicles where we did have to remove the shift knob boot. It should be on our Acura or Subaru removal videos on our channel.

At 2:01 the plastic piece can stay in and at 4:21 the screw under the shift knob has to get removed. Other than that, great video!
