Propad resets the ic900. It does store the dump file, which is handy for manual editing.. i had to create my own file for a 2001 tundra because the sequoia file didn't work. Used a combination of information from the original dump, and ff'd the key locations, Programed new keys and did 30 min ecu/immo pairing.❤😊

It’s best to avoid problems and just go to the autopropad under eeprom data initialization.. Autel has gave me a lot of issue .. best to always first save the file before editing or reflashing ..

Very nice video, on the auto pro pads doesn’t it just re-flash it then just allows you to add keys manually to the car ?

Yes it reflashes to virgin state erased all keys . And after it’s ready to receive new key.. on the contrary to writing key via dump doesn’t erase current stored keys

the antenna for the coil detection on my key tool max popped off where it was held on. do you think it’s safe to just add a little crazy glue on the middle where there’s no contact to hold it in place ? hopefully you have an idea of what i’m talking about

Do you have a solution for battery issue on the xp-005 with the screen on it, I ordered a new one but would be nice to have the back up charged up again if possible :( “it just wouldn’t charge at all after left charging for 3 days”

The only solution is to replace the battery.. don’t leave your machine in the sun or over charge it .. as soon as it’s done charging disconnect the power

Can you just do it without removing the chip?

I have always done it with the clip but have just learn that you can cause damage to the ecu because the clip conducts electricity through out the circuit board.. but I have always done it with a clip and never had that happened to me but best be safe when working on ecus
