It doesn’t matter….it sounds fanatic and it’s loud enough to get harassed by Asshole cops that hate car culture!!! I’ve driven IS’s with the Megan Y pipe! It 🎉mmmmmmmmmmmAdds a little power. I have a TOTL Nitrous Exoress wet kit. I’m gonna start with 75 shot. Stage 2 264 cams, adjustable exhaust cam gear with 3 degrees retard. I’m adding cheap Chinese short ram(DC is the best but I need nitrous money) . a Megan Racing Y pipe and having a 2.5” Greddy RS muffler with removable tip welded onto my stock exhaust. Cars here don’t rust…my stock exhaust is pristine. I also have a Cisco OS full blue front upper strut bar. Megan racing rear upper strut bar and cheap Chinese purple coil overs. Don’t wanna spend $1500 on HKS right now. Buying a Cusco lower brace asap for future drifting! It’s gonna be a bad ass Daily sleeper(nothing sleeper about the Greddy evolution RS muffler though🤣🤣). Every oil seal and imaginable maintenance has been done including heavy duty moog ball joints! Can’t wait.

Stop saying that please. The IS manual can’t handle amazing power levels even with a Clutch upgrade. Yes it’s faster for mild tuning and gets better gas mileage! IS automatic trannys are fantastic quality and can handle impressive power increases stock and have great available upgrades for amazing power increases. With a valve body and some other affordable upgrades you can build an automatic monster. Run a 75-125 wet shot of nitrous which your automatic can absolutely handle without upgrades. Run a window switch and all the standard nitrous safety precautions and you’ll thank me. You don’t even need cooler spark plugs, timing retard or any octane boosters for a 75 shot. You don’t even need a full exhaust system if money is tight. All of the increased power, sound and fuel economy comes from the muffler until you get into high boost! Just buy a great muffler like HKS Hi power or Greddy RS and have it welded In(unless your stock exhaust pipes are rusted obviously) to your stock exhaust. Don’t listen to the negativity about intakes. A short Ram sounds awesome . It gives you a little bit more power and a little more mileage. Even the cheap Chinese short Ram intakes that can be had for under $50 shipped work great on our cars!😱😁👍. If you can afford $300 I’d highly recommend DC sports. The fit/finish and overall quality is awesome. Heat shield design and kick ass dry filter. After 20k miles just buy a new filter. With a full exhaust or a good muffler m, an intake and at least a 75 wet shot of nitrous you’ll love life in your IS. When you need more power turbo charge it and build the engine and tranny or keep the power around 350 crank HP m(engine can handle that stock) and you’ll have a 4 door Supra and a permanent shit eating grin!!👍👍😁😁🇺🇸🇺🇸

You can get the authentic Greddy RS muffler with removable tip for $220 shipped on feebay. Your IS300 Will sound exactly like videos of IS300’s with a full Greddy exhaust. 👍😁 P.S.S. The Megan Racing Y pipe will give you a little more power and it shifts the power band into the upper range. Prestige auto lab has them for $318.50 shipped. It’s worth it if money isn’t tight. If money is tight forget it and save for turbo! P.s.s.s(lol) The cheap eBay headers will give you a noticeable increase in power but they sound like ass imo. Don’t ever buy a Megan header as they suck ass! The only header ever made for our cars that adds real kick ass power is the Figs race headers but they cost CRAZY $$$!!! Amazing power increases but costs as much as a turbo kit!!!😱😱🥲🥲

I know this comment is 7 years old. My family has owned IS300’s since 2004! The automatic granny’s are very high quality. Add an intake. Exhaust and 75 shot minimum wet nitrous with all the safety features(window switch etc.) and you won’t be saying…”Oohhh man I have an automatic.//cry, cry!😂😂😂

Brown C you get new hangers ??? Shit hardest part well wasnt that hard was taking of my stock exhaust since it has big tips at the end where the hangers are in and I couldnt take of the exhaust because it was jamed in there use wd40 to lossen it up otherwise it'll be a challenge to take it off from the hangers use pliers
