Great video. Really enjoy your insight and apparent crazy level of research in the path you've taken with your IS F. I watched through your back catalog and really dig your take on mods/upgrades and track/strip days. One question, where on earth did you find one with Nav delete? This looks like the unicorn or unicorns as I've yet to find a single example for sale or ever having been sold. Cheers. Great channel. Keep up the awesome videos.

Thank you! Just lots of reading over the years of ownership with this car. There’s a lot of great information on Club Lexus from folks that know way more than I do. Regarding the navigation delete, I’ve seen only a handful of ISFs with it. I think the ISFs with moonroof deletes are the most rare. More videos to come soon!

Keep up the great reviews. I’m going to need brakes this year and possibly rotors. Street car only and just over 60k miles on original brakes. If the rotors have no cracks do you think I could do a pad only change? Thoughts?
@ISFASTER
@ISFASTER 5 жыл бұрын
Measure their thickness. If the fronts are less than 28mm replace them, if the backs are less than 26mm replace them. If you stick with the stock rotors they’re pretty cheap on eBay, ~$100 each.

how's this brand after several months? I've been checking out reviews and it seems a lot of complaints with Brakenetic?

I know this is a old video so you may not see this but I just looked for my '13 gs f sport and brakenetic only offer rear rotors as of 11/23/21.. Sadly.

Hey man! So what is your input after tracking the car with these rotors? I just began tracking mine and it started showing some cracks... going upgrade the brake lines and fluid as well. Would like to know the results for the rotors. Thanks!!

I also have a video on what happened to these rotors after 2 track days, burned off the e-coating and Brakenetic sent me a new set with a Zinc coating but never got around to do another track day before selling the car. No cracking on the original set but they felt the same as the stock rotors.

What are rotors really. How much can you do with them? Does it matter which ones you get as long as they're not no names from eBay, but some ppl have good stories with those. This company seems legit. They're more money than a lot of oems. If you're not buying carbon fiber ceramic. Steel ones are all similar. IMO anyway.
@ISFASTER
@ISFASTER 4 жыл бұрын
I went with slotted rotors due to the OEM drilled rotors cracking. If you track the car you’ll have to replace rotors less with blank or slotted rotors.
@BillClay88
@BillClay88 4 жыл бұрын
@@ISFASTER yeah, makes sense. Holes compromise durability. I just meant the name you got in terms of reliability. All brand name rotors work. But these seem to have worked out good for you. So good endorsement for this company, especially where you track it. They have a unique design too. I need rotors, so might try these or sp performance I think they called?.. at carid. Never heard of them. They have slotted and sprinkled/dimpled which is obviously better than drilled, but again, like cool design pattern of brakenetics and probably just go with these. Any squeaking? Some of these design rotors are loud. Plus some of racing pads don't help. Like ebc rotors as well, but only have so much money.
@ISFASTER
@ISFASTER 4 жыл бұрын
I had Project Mu NS400 pads with no squeaking for the street the would swap in Project Mu HC800 pads for the track which had a bit of squeaking, not horrible though.
