I run a 2010 ISF .. best car I have ever owned. Awesome power and handling with a Q car/ sleeper vibe. Almost everyone I know had no idea it was such a weapon. And that sound. Even after owning it for 2 years I still get a thrill every time it hits 3600rpm.

Bought a 2011 F 5.0 recently because I was looking for a rare combination . . . performance plus reliability. As a former race driver, I can honestly say, it does both very well. If you buy one, keep it stock and you will find it to be a good investment also when you sell it.

Velvet hammer is a good description for the IS F. Powerful, classy, and ultra reliable. Have had a 2010 from new and daily driven, not one item has needed replacement, not one bulb, not a fuse. Only regular maintenance of fluids, filters, and brake changes. She has about 70k miles and smooth as the first day I’ve had her.

I would love to get the isf, from so many videos I’ve seen I love the power, the sound, the look and also love how everyone that owns one says it’s basically bulletproof so the reliability to it is a huge plus for me and it’s a rare car you don’t see. They are so hard to find without having a ton of miles but if I can find one with decently low miles I gotta try and get it

Black Rims and a Front Lip are a must for any ISF. Those simple mods completely change the look of the ISF. Sure there are more cosmetic mods you can do but those two really transform the car.

So I think originally these cars came with Bridgestones, Just recently I bought a 2013 ISF an ultrasonic blew off my close friend it has 64,000 miles on it I think just under 12,000 units were built worldwide with 5000 units that came to the US my 13 in my color and there’s probably I think 100 for built year 14 like 86… so I wonder how many are left in my year, I have the same exhaust system the car is on Swift Springs

It's not his car, but after 2010 the trim was updated and they dropped the silver trim. If yours has the silver trim you have several options; you can vinyl wrap yours black, you can buy the updated ones since they'll still fit, or you can buy carbon fiber ones

Slim reaper, I own a IS 250 AWD 2008. I am thinking about getting a 2008 ISF with only 50K miles on it. In Seattle, if I get all season tires for winter time I should be ok? Since it does not snow much in the Seattle area. Just freezing rain. I wonder maybe winter tires?

not OP. I own one in nor cal, rains a lot here. Not as much as Seattle, but a decent amount. Never had issues. If you can stretch your budget I'd get one post 2010. They have better suspension, don't remember if the limited slip diff was added in 2010 or 2011. Mine is 2013 and has 19500 miles. Snagged it a year and a half ago for 41k when it had 12k miles. Was driving at 335i, that I spent 17k in the shop over the course of a year. I see this as a car that drives like a m3 but is reliable like a corolla. Keep in mind that in later years in the U.S. less and less were imported. 2013 has around 139, in 2014 had around 70. If you can find a later year pull the trigger. Its great to have something a bit more unique.

With this particular exhaust it sounds a lot like the latest 63 amg S that has 612 bhp... but without the muffled effect from turbos... the base is similar but this IS F is much louder

They only come with red for the isf but the is250 and 350 they have AWD but they vibrates a lot when you lower the car. It's better to get a red it runs smoother...
